    Service Advisor - Ford Robertson

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dealership’s service department at Rola Ford Robertson.   As one of the key representatives of our team, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their vehicles receive the care and attention they deserve.
    • Your role will involve coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, providing clear communication between clients and technicians, and delivering an exceptional service experience that builds trust and loyalty.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric or equivalent qualification
    • Min 2 years previous experience in the automotive industry as a Service Advisor (Ford Brand experience advantageous)
    • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
    • Excellent communication and client service skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
    • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for customer service
    • Proficient in service management software and basic computer skills
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Greeting clients and assessing their vehicle repair and maintenance needs.
    • Providing accurate estimates of repair costs and expected timeframes.
    • Scheduling service appointments and ensuring repairs are completed on time.
    • Communicating effectively with technicians and the parts department to coordinate timely completion of repairs.
    • Educating clients on preventative maintenance and recommending appropriate services.
    • Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
    • Addressing client concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Following up with clients after service to ensure satisfaction and promote customer loyalty.

    • We are currently seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to join our team at Rola GWM Stellenbosch. As the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop and parts department. Furthermore you will be responsible for ensuring that the workshop is operating efficiently and effectively, and that our customers receive the highest level of service.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • At least 3 years experience in a similar role within the automotive industry 
    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Good organisational and time management skills
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

    • Managing and controlling workshop costs to ensure profitability
    • Liaising with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of parts
    • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out in the workshop
    • Ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times
    • Managing customer complaints and resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction
    • Conducting regular team meetings to review performance and implement improvements
    • Identifying training needs and providing training to team members as required
