    Service Contract Technician - S3

    The Role

    • Provides technical support in mechanical maintenance. Maintains and improves machines and equipment to increase or maintain a high level of reliability, availability, cost efficiency and performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Electrical Mechanical and Maintenance operations.
    • Preventive maintenance, perform corrective actions, support planning and preparation, monitors outcome, documentation (outcome, root cause, time, improvements).
    • Conduct Risk Assessments, Shift Reporting, and Incident Reporting.
    • Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
    • Achievement of Key performance indicators.
    • Follow quality and cleanliness standards.
    • Communication of operational status and any deviations.
    • Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements. Comply with all Safe operation practices.
    • Continuous improvements and development on a personal and operational level.

    Profile Required

    • Grade 12 / N3 Technical Qualification / Equivalent Qualification
    • Section 13 Trade Certificate Millwright, Diesel Mechanic or Electrician this must be accompanied by proof of Training / Modules/POE/Proof of apprenticeship
    • Basic Computer literacy, Microsoft Excel, word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • English proficiency
    • Must have Flameproof
    • Must have Gas Testing
    • Relevant mining experience (5 years)
    • Underground mining environment in the production section
    • Will be required to work shifts and be away from home for the duration of the shift.
    • Need to be medically fit
    • Must have a valid Car Drivers license
    • Must have own transport

    Accounts Payable Accountant - P1

    The Role:

    • To provide efficient handling of Accounts Payable
    • To ensure compliance with local legislation and Sandvik processes and regulations in the Accounts Payable
    • To develop the ways of working in the Accounts Payable
    • Enforces and monitors that the global internal controls are applied on all foreign and local transactions

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts payables
    • Intercompany recharges for the distribution centre
    • Prepare capital asset requests and facilitate approvals for the Distribution centre
    • Manage the stock returns and credit process related to it.
    • Manage the end to end GIT process for the distribution centre including monthly reconciliations and posting of the journal.
    • Review monthly income statement and balance sheet for the distribution centre
    • Investigate and resolve intercompany overdues
    • Manage the South African reserve bank requirements including audits
    • Manage Transfer Pricing debit and credit notes
    • Adhoc projects and support as required by the manager
    • Implement and support the development of Accounts Payable policies and rules
    • Prepares, records, verifies, analyses and reports accounts payable
    • Pays vendor invoices including Sandvik netting payments on a timely basis
    • Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts
    • Prepares, analyses and reconciles payment runs
    • Support Sandvik business and External Service Centre in relation to escalated invoice mismatches.

    Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification
    • Bcom Accounting/Equivalent
    • Multinational entity experience – 1 to 3 years experience
    • Office Suite Literacy
    • English proficiency
    • Professional, energetic, dynamic and positive team player with great business acumen
    • Ability to work well within a high-pressure environment
    • Must be able to liaise on all levels in the organisation
    • Willing to work extended hours during financial reporting cycles as well as during ad hoc reporting periods.

    Senior Minerals Processing Manager - Sales Area Africa

    Purpose of the role:

    • The role will report into the report into the Sales Area Vice President and drive growth by positioning and selling Sandvik optimization and comminution solutions to mining operators and engineering houses. Serve as the technical-commercial lead—engaging both senior mine management (site HQ and global offices) and operational teams to deliver energy-efficient, cost-effective comminution systems tailored to site-specific mineralogy and throughput targets.  You will work closely with the Divisional Strategy and Business Development team (dotted line reporting to Director Business Development & Strategy)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Sales & Business Development

    • Identify and qualify opportunities across target Sales area.
    • Develop and execute Sales area business plans and sales strategies.
    • Lead end-to-end sales process—prospecting, quoting, negotiating, closing.
    • Cultivate and maintain C-level relationships at mine HQ and site leadership.

    Technical Leadership & Client Engagement

    • Analyze comminution circuits; define optimization opportunities.
    • Present data-driven technical and financial business cases to executive and operational audiences.
    • Collaborate with process engineers and operations teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions.

    Project Coordination & Delivery Support

    • Work with internal product, application, engineering, and service teams through proposal, delivery, and commissioning.
    • Support site audits, installation oversight, and performance tuning.
    • Provide contractual and technical input in negotiations and ensure alignment on scope, risks, milestones.

    Industry Representation

    • Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and technical forums.
    • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product and marketing strategies.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent such as a National Higher diploma (Extractive metallurgy)
    • Postgraduate qualification (Master’s or PhD) in Mineral Processing or Comminution is highly advantageous—demonstrates technical leadership and innovation capability. 

    Skills & Experience Requirements

    • Technical Depth: Mastery of comminution methods (crushing, grinding, HPGR, stirred mills); strong mineral processing fundamentals.
    • Sales & Commercial Acumen: Skilled in proposal development, client negotiation, and closing high-value technical deals.
    • Executive Communication: Capable of translating technical details into strategic business value for C-suite.
    • Collaborative Operations: Effective at working with site teams and process engineers to drive technical improvements.
    • Project Management: Able to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage through commissioning and ramp-up phases.
    • Relationship Building: Well-connected within mining operators and engineering houses in your geography.
    • Mobility & Presence: Comfortable traveling frequently and with high on-site engagement.
    • 8+ years selling technical mining equipment or solutions, preferably focused on comminution circuits.
    • Proven success in managing a full sales lifecycle and achieving revenue targets.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage both senior executives and operational teams.
    • Experience in project coordination from conception through to commissioning and technical delivery support.
    • Experience and understanding of Sandvik Crushing & Screening equipment highly preferable
