What will make you successful in this role?
5+ years of working experience as a software developer
Last previous years of working experience should be as a PHP developer
At least 1-year working experience in implementing solution using PHP 7.3.x or higher
Working experience with JavaScript, VueJs, React, or Angular
Working experience with Symfony 3+ or other MVC orientated frameworks
Working experience using Git for code versioning and code reviews in tools like Bitbucket or GitHub
Good understanding of software development design patterns

Meet the qualification requirements in line with their DOFA:
Individuals who joined the industry prior to 2010 must have obtained their 30 or 60 credits or alternatively obtained a full qualification as per the FSCA’s list of recognized qualifications.
Individuals who joined the industry from 2010 must have obtained a full qualification (120 Credits at NQF Level 4 for Categories B1 and B2) as per the FSCA's list of recognized qualifications at the point of recruitment.
It would be advantageous for the individual to meet the following criteria but not compulsory: In order to register for the Retail Pensions Category the Manager must have obtained a full qualification (120 Credits. at NQF level 4 would be required and NQF level 5 would be advantageous Categories B1 and B2) as per the FSCA's list of recognized qualifications at the point of recruitment. • RE 5 required from date of appointment
Class of business (COB):
Should the candidate have been deemed Fit and Proper for Tier 1 by 01 April 2018, the candidate is then deemed competent for Class of Business. All applicants that were still under supervision for any competency requirement pre or post 01 April 2018 will be required to have obtained Class of Business prior to appointment. If a potential candidate has not completed Class of Business they are still deemed to be under supervision and cannot be appointed as a Sales Manager.
Knowledge and skills
At least 2 years sales experience of which at least 1 year must be within the financial services industry (Cat B1/Cat B2/Retail Pensions)
A minimum of one year management experience

What will you do?
Taking the lead in Business Analysis, this role will be responsible for analysing business processes, systems and procedures, assessing the business model and its integration with business intelligence in order to get valuable business insights from various data sources and visualise these insights in a useful and organized manner.
We are looking for an individual with experience in using a variety of data tools, analysis methods and data visualization to turn data into actionable insights with demonstrable business impact.

Qualification and Experience

• 6 years of experience performing Business analysis
• Experience with Data Visualisation tools and techniques (e.g. SAP Business Objects and PowerBI) is an advantage
• Experience Extracting data or Querying data in database from Data Visualisation software or Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings for stakeholder use
• Experience working with data in various data sources and databases
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms

What will you do?
This is a senior management role, reporting to the Head: Infrastructure, Platforms and Operations at Sanlam Group Technology (SGT).
The role is primary accountable for:
The provision of cost effective, efficient, stable and secure network infrastructure shared services including Data/Voice/Video network (WAN/LAN/WLAN) for all participating businesses in the Sanlam Group, across the geographies of a global organisation as per agreed services levels focussed on Infrastructure as a Service Platforms.
Defining and implementing the SGT Shared Network strategy and delivering networking infrastructure services supporting the Sanlam Technology strategy. The role will work closely across the Sanlam Group businesses, vendors, business partners and Public Cloud Service Providers to design and implement a clear roadmap for ensuring delivery of On-premise Private and Hybrid infrastructure services.
Understanding and deep curiosity about emergent IT and Infrastructure trends, notably software-defined network, Infrastructure as Code, Hyper-convergence, DevSecOps, Containerisation, Micro services, some application coding skills in addition to systems knowledge.
Rigorous budget, cost recovery and charge back mechanisms and procedures.
Continuous standardisation, consolidation and optimisation of shared networking across the Group.
Delivery on the Software defined strategy for WAN and Data Centre including the technology, process and engineering to enable and maintain it.
Managing outsourced services delivery and relationships.
Engaging with Sanlam Group Business Units to understand their strategy and business requirements to ensure alignment of the SGT services offered.
Technology Strategy Execution and delivery of business requirements.
Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and traditional and emerging contract and

Knowledge and Experience
Extensive (10+ years) technical, operations, risk and business management experience in complex large technology environments (at least 10 years of which 5 years is in a senior management role
Understanding the current state and strategic direction of Networking Infrastructure.
Understanding software defined networking and automation.
Understanding and experience of Cloud competencies.
Understanding and experience of Cisco product suite, WAN, UTP Cabling, Knowledge of the Network service providers’ technologies, Wireless .
Understanding the business climate and technology needs in the global enterprise, servicing multiple client requirements.
