    Internal Audit Internship Programme

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of honours degree (NQF 8) in Internal Auditing/Accounting /Auditing; (attach transcript)
    • New entrants into audit and risk management environment (in other words you must not have worked or held an audit and risk management internship before)
    • Knowledge of audit and risk management softwares, ITS, Blackboard etc will be an advantage
    • Computer Literate: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access/Database, Internet, email, etc
    • Willingness to learn audit and risk management
    • Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
    • Must be a South African citizen

    DUTIES

    • Assist in the development of the annual audit plan
    • Assist in conducting internal audits for the university, including making arrangements for audits, conducting entrance and exit conferences, preparing and maintaining files of work papers, and preparing audit findings and reports.

    Asset Management Services Internship Programme

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of bachelor's degree (NQF 7) in accounting; or equivalent (attach transcript)
    • New entrants into asset management services environment (in other words you must not have worked or held an asset management Services internship before)
    • Basic understanding of asset management services administration

    DUTIES

    • Assist in maintaining and updating the University's asset register

    • Assist in conducting physical asset verifications and inventory audits, including reconciliation between physical assets, the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), and the General Ledger (GL)

    Postdoctoral Research Fellowship: Public Health (SARChI)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Have graduated within the last five (5) years with a PhD in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a relevant health and social science discipline (e.g., Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Statistics), and demonstrate strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: mHealth applications, website development, digital health innovation, or digital transformation in healthcare systems.
    • Proficient in statistical or data analysis software (e.g. STATA and/or SPSS, R, SQL,QRS, NVivo and/or ATLAS.Ti) and any other software.
    • Competent in data management (e.g. REDCap).
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrates a publication record
