    Job Description

    • To contribute to a positive workforce experience through innovative learning solutioning to address business requirements.
    • Partner with relevant stakeholders on allocated projects; driving efficiencies, agility & commercial viability by optimising technology in the design & development of integrated learning solutions.

    Essential Functions

    • Support a digital innovation learning approach by linking learning objectives to the Standard Bank competency library framework and developing appropriate learning experiences to address capability and performance gaps; make suggestions regarding Group core and universal learning experiences to supplement the business specific learning initiatives.
    • Hands‑on experience with e‑learning authoring tools. Automation only works if the person understands the end product

    Branch Team Leader

    Job Description

    • To lead the effective functioning of the branch, ensuring strong operational control, disciplined risk management, sales delivery, and an exceptional customer experience.
    • This role is accountable for the full day-to-day management of the branch environment including security, cash handling, service quality, staff leadership and performance outcomes, while promoting multi-channel usage and driving financial growth.

    Manager, High Value Solutions and Recoveries

    Job Description

    • To lead and manage complex litigation, debt recovery, restructuring and rehabilitation matters within a portfolio of high-value distressed clients.
    • The role is responsible for developing and executing legally sound recovery strategies that protect the organisation’s legal position, minimise credit losses and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and governance frameworks.
    • The incumbent will provide specialist legal advice to internal stakeholders, manage external legal service providers, and remain current with developments in relevant case law and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead litigation and recovery strategies for high-value distressed client portfolios.
    • Negotiate settlements and restructuring agreements to optimise recovery outcomes.
    • Protect the organisation’s legal position through sound legal risk management.

    Personal & Private Banking (PPB) Risk Graduate Programme

    Job Description

    • We’re looking for talented individuals to join our Risk Management division as Graduate Trainees.
    • The aim of our 18-month graduate programme is to equip you with skills and experiences deemed necessary to set you up for becoming a skilled Risk Practitioner, with guidance and support from Senior Executives & Managers who run the Risk Management portfolios.
    • Through a series of rotations, you will learn how risk is managed in the bank and gain extensive experience in a wide range of analytical areas within the Personal & Private Banking (PPB) Risk business unit. These areas include Decision Science, Credit Solution Engineering and Lending portfolios (i.e., Credit Card, Home Finance, Car Finance and Personal Loans), Fraud Risk Management and Non-financial risk.
