ABOUTMBS
MBS, Unilever’s Marketing and Business Services Procurement team, is responsible for Unilever’s sourcing and supplier strategy and execution for all third party spend across Marketing, Business Services, and IT, supporting the business requirements of Brands, Divisions, Markets, and functions to drive 4G growth through strategic supplier management, cost and value management, sustainability, and innovation, aligned with Unilever’s Compass. The team manages an annual spend of ~9B Euro with a supplier base of about 40,000. Within MBS, the Strategic Sourcing Manager, Promo Services Europe, is responsible for the Promo Services (Shopper marketing, Events &Activations, Field Force, Sampling & other instore services) portfolio.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager, Promo Services will work together with Brand, CD, CMI and other functions to increase effectiveness of the portfolio by streamlining accountabilities, building capabilities, digital path, and leveraging knowledge, relationships, and business strategies across markets.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager needs to focus on increase efficiency by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, prioritizing higher impact areas, leveraging technology, sustainability, and data, to unlock 4G growth for Unilever in this area. The lead needs to explore business requirements to set up the right operating frameworks. Create seamless, catalogue buying experience for the Stakeholders where it’s relevant.
The role will foster and build a culture of collaboration and agility to enable an efficient project roll-out. It will ensure close alignment in strategy with Brand, CD, CMI, Finance functions, and MBS directors, Market Procurement Directors by defining and utilizing a robust support network for the whole team and providing clarity on the ways of works and roles and responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Understand the business needs related to the portfolio, and bring deep expertise and insights across the value chain and supply base to translate the business requirements into effective future-fit procurement strategies
Connect strategy & execution aligned to Unilever Compass, Global CD and market goals and priorities, aligned with Procurement with Purpose and OneMBS strategies
Together with Brand, Finance, CD & CMI functions deliver transformational sourcing strategies, execution models, and supplier relationships that help drive 4G growth in accordance with our plans, including a focus on Responsible Sourcing strategies.
Deliver against financial targets and other KPIs (including value delivery) as per business plan objectives, accountable for delivery of results from all markets, PMUs, Divisions and functions globally
Implement Unilever Partner with Purpose strategy, balancing a portfolio of global and local suppliers
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to support business, market, MBS and Procurement priorities and enable rapid alignment and deployment
Lead rigorous execution of the priorities and transformation initiatives across the portfolio, create development opportunities.
Ensure Portfolio fundamentals (i.e.data consistency, data insights, recurring stakeholder communications, contracts, etc.) are all put in place
Future proof the portfolio by driving digital approaches, while building technology enablers to help manage selected portfolio and scope, while driving impactful sustainability agenda.
Support internal performance management and reporting including creation and stewardship of relevant key performance indicators

10+ years of procurement experience, including proven and deep experience in Promo Sevices, including Shopper Marketing, Field force and events and activations portfolios or other relevant marketing procurement portfolio’s
Strategic sourcing, portfolio strategy expertise, with experience in managing complex portfolio/category, at global or multi-regional level
Expert in negotiation and contracting
Understanding of supply market, value chain, and FMCG knowledge. Knowledge of relevant portfolios and supply markets a strong plus.
Experience in strategic supplier relationship management
Experience on project management
Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities
Experience in shaping and leading transformational business process reengineering, with experience driving Change Management initiatives.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Co-ordinates the overall implementation and maintenance of the SHE management system and promotes continuous improvement practices which reduce the business SHE risk.
JOB SUMMARY

Monitoring SHE objectives and targets as the business SHE expert, provides specialist support to the relevant business teams.
Drives, assists with and collates general SHE risk assessments;

Maintain best practice and knowledge base through networks within the wider SHE community internal and external.

Main Purpose
The SUIT Engineer supports the SUIT Manager as a point contact for raw and packaging material, product, process, process controls and equipment implementations and modifications. Including new asset landing below Euro 1m and large Kaizen’s managing and deploying projects of E1m and below, including support of Feasibility Trials and Capability Trials.
This role is responsible for managing individual projects across technologies and innovation and coordination of process development and technical project leads. The role is accountable for the coordination of new innovations, product transfers, roll-outs, recipe changes, line extensions, process control and VIP related activities within an agreed time frame.
Responsible for identification and delivery of 5S projects.
Main Accountabilities
1. Change Management
MOC process management.
Leading projects and coordinating project teams in execution of EEM and EPM.
Communication with Marketing, CD, R&D and SC stakeholders in ensuring that the sourcing unit is aligned to project timelines and requirements for implementation OTIF.
2. CAPEX Controls
Ensuring budgeting and cost spend is in line with the CAPEX allocation for the project.
Spend management is according to agreed project delivery.
3. Innovation Projects
Drive Innovation Excellence / OTIF by supporting EPM (which includes QA, product safety, and planning and data co-ordination) and supporting EEM/DFM.
Input for Business case and Innovation plans to PG team for input to contract and market ready documents.
Ensure effective link with R&D, PG, Planning, Cluster Engineering design/deploy and factories for innovation, Capacity and VIP delivery.
In case of projects below Euro 1m, supporting the innovation process from Contract gate to Commissioning in the cluster.
4. Other Projects
Input to technical risk assessments to avoid quality issues.
Supports EPM.
Ensure technology harmonization, simplification and flexible manufacturing in cooperation with Cluster Engineering team.
Commissioning (Post Dry Testing) Troubleshooter with respect to product, process, process controls and packaging performance.
Ensure the highest standards and processes are implemented to comply with Unilever and local safety and quality standard
Large Kaizen projects (small Kaizen done by site Asset Care Team)
Replacing of assets due to age, not linked to innovation or capacity, done by Asset Care Team

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure the production and packaging of company products, according to the production plan and within company’s quality and safety standards.
JOB SUMMARY:
Production Management
Agrees and implements production plan with production manager. Support, guide and direct within the production plan. (e.g. if a production line breaks down, prioritise production requirements and re-allocates labour accordingly).
Analyses shift results and implements any necessary changes to increase productivity
Ensures that quality standards are implemented and adhered to and diagnoses plant problems (fault finding) and liaises with Engineering Foreman for plant repairs and interprets fault finding to optimise production. Ensure that shift repairs and maintenance is carried out by the Team Leaders and operators to reduce the impact of downtime
Conducts shift handover meetings and daily production meetings with the different production disciplines to analyse previous shift results and implements any necessary changes to meet demand
Responsible for ensuring sufficient staff manning and adequate raw materials availability
Identifies root causes and costs of waste, contamination and inefficiencies and takes appropriate action to reduce these amounts. Monitor and reduce wastes such as product, packaging, steam, air, water and electricity
Monitors and ensures adherence to Company standards and SOP’s. Ensures that Plant is maintained in a high level of engineering, housekeeping and Safety standards
Implements total productive maintenance to improve PQCDSMI (Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale, and Innovation) in order to deliver against set Factory targets

Operational Systems
Ensure that all employees adhere to the operational systems standards (SAP, PAMCO, DFOS, TMIS, PMIS, FINPRO, ABC quality, ESS, time keeping etc) and manages the business processes defined within these operational systems
Identifies reasons for staff non-conformance (e.g. training required, managing poor performance, refusal to obey lawful instruction, absenteeism) and takes appropriate action

Main Job Purpose:
The Factory Manager is responsible for operating a factory (or factories) as per agreed standards. S/he leads manufacturing activities in the factory to achieve desired service levels on time. The Factory Manager delivers site targets following the supply chain and category strategies including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE.
Key Accountabilities:
Deploy and deliver to annual plan and financial results including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE
Recommend long term site strategic plans to the Regional Category and Supply Chain teams
Lead site to develop and implement continuous improvement plans to deliver site targets – manufacturing performance management
Manage and deliver the site’s financial results: annual budgets, Sourcing Unit Result, conversion costs and create programmes to deliver financial results
Engage and facilitate the implementation of innovations on site, for products, ways of working, service models and supply chain models
