  • Mechanical Engineer Level II

    Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    • Performing Mechanical Design Verification of Conveyor Equipment & Chute design using Software like Newton; Sidewinder; Belt Analyst.
    • Prepare and Review Conveyor Equipment Datasheets and Specifications.
    • Prepare and Review sizing/development of Conveyor equipment and equipment specifications.
    • Manage, Oversee and Review Databook's and End of Job Documentation (E.O.J)
    • Perform Package Management of single Mechanical Equipment's and Multidisciplinary Packages, i.e. Conveyor equipment & Chutes.
    • Completing tasks in accordance with the specific stages of the engineering design process.
    • Perform and Review technical bid analysis & tabulation which will be used to select appropriate vendors.
    • Review vendor information for technical detail and information.
    • Adhere to Worley standardized practices, procedures and general work instruction – "Go-Buys."
    • Adhere to Engineering National Standards & Specifications.
    • Adhere to Mechanical & Piping Engineering Procedures, Policies & Work Instructions.
    • Adhere to Worley & Client HSE Policies & Procedures.
    • Timeously distribution of project documentation to the relevant recipients.
    • Produce and Review Conveyor Equipment scope of work, documents for procurement purposes.

    Essential Skills/Experience:

    Skills/ Competencies:

    • Technical accuracy, completeness of data and adherence to the task.
    • Technical Writing ability.

    Experience

    • 5+ years EPC / EPCM Environment
    • Has a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices.
    • Experience in conveyor equipment for Bulk Material Handling (BMH) Purposes.

    Education/ Minimum Requirements:

    • B.Sc. (Eng.); B.Eng., B.Tech, BEngTech (Honours).
    • Must be able to register with (ECSA) as a candidate Pr. Eng. or Pr Tech Eng
    • Specialist Knowledge of International Codes, i.e. ISO, ASME, CEMA etc. of practice relevant to the industry.
    • Knowledge of National and International Standards; Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Design & Principles.
    • Extensive Knowledge of Bill of Quantities

    Senior Project Administrator

    Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    • Minutes taking, typing and distribution.
    • Creating and accurately typing up of all Templates; Correspondence; Reports; Specifications; Presentations.
    • Liaising with all support staff and clients on a regular basis.
    • Assist project teams with formatting as required.
    • Distribution of all correspondence.
    • Printing and binding of documents.
    • Boardroom management.
    • All project administration.
    • Catering for project team and clients / project events.
    • Travel arrangements – assist with all travel arrangements are made for project team.
    • Onboarding – assist with all onboarding arrangements for the project team and vendors.
    • Manage contact list and distribution lists.
    • Ordering and maintaining stationary for project team.
    • Must be safety conscientious.
    • Must look at ways for savings e.g. control of stationery, printing, etc.

    Experience
    Essential Skills/Experience:

    • 4-6 years related experience.

    Education/ Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric / Diploma.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
