    Workshop Administration Clerk (Frankfort)

    Description

    • Assist with workshop administration and communication

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 6 months relevant experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Create job cards.
    • Create pro-forma invoices for job cards.
    • Create orders for external vendors on job cards.
    • Deposit daily bank.
    • Ensure the risk file (GMR) is up to date and all forms are signed off.
    • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients and promptly respond to/resolve client queries.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Basic knowledge of workshop administration

    Administration Clerk (Retail) - Receiving (Belfast)

    Description

    • Responsible for effective maintenance of the administrative functions of the branch within the receiving department 

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 1 year administration experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Receive and compare stock to delivery notes.
    • Receive and file all delivery notes and assist with ad-hoc receiving duties.
    • Ensure that all documents are processed and that the number sequence on the system is correct.
    • Collect invoices electronically for receiving process and link invoices with delivery notes and orders.
    • Capture, process and manage claims (warranty claims, damaged items, short or surplus deliveries and expired stock).
    • Maintain good client relationships with internal and external clients and resolve client queries.
    • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports from the system (outstanding claims, outstanding purchase orders, negative on-hand reports, etc,).
    • Generate stock-taking reports and assist with quarterly stock-taking.
    • Capture stock count sheets on the system.
    • Generate variance report and report variance to line manager.
    • Regularly communicate with suppliers on all outstanding invoices, credit notes or discrepancies of stock.
    • Ensure that codes, prices and stock correspond with orders and stock received.
    • Ensure that cash-ups are done daily.
    • Ensure that cash surpluses and shortages are paid in as per policy.
    • Report daily cash up (balances & discrepancies) to Regional Banking Clerk.

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    Internship (Work Integrated Learning Programme) (Vastfontein farm)

    Description

    • AFGRI Farmer Development invites suitably qualified candidates currently enrolled for a National Diploma: Agriculture (Crop Production) or National Diploma: Agriculture (Animal Production) or  National Diploma: Agriculture (Irrigation Systems) seeking experiential training to apply for the 2025 Work Integrated Learning Programme. Successful candidates will be placed at our Vasfontein Farm in Pretoria North, where they will acquire all-around work experience by fulfilling various duties and responsibilities relevant to the department.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be a South African citizen under the age of 35
    • Must be registered or planning to register for the final year of a National Diploma: Agriculture (Crop Production) or National Diploma: Agriculture (Animal Production) or  National Diploma: Agriculture (Irrigation Systems) at a recognised higher education institution in South Africa in 2025.
    • Work Integrated Learning (WIL) must be a compulsory requirement for the completion of the qualification. Applicants must attach an academic record and an official letter from their educational institution confirming the WIL requirement to their application.
    • Have not worked full-time (more than 1 year) in their field of study.
    • Should be based in the city of hire.
    • Good grades will be a strong advantage.

    • Work with a cross-functional team to complete a Work Integrated Learning project as assigned by your Line Manager.
    • Attain on-the-job work experience aligned with your qualification and career aspirations.
