    Product and Clinical Specialist/ Sales Representative

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive educational activities to meet/exceed defined KPIs
    • Support clinicians and patients in product selection
    • Liaise with KOLs and build the database of KOLs
    • Report to RoW Regional Sales Manger

    Business Development - you will work in partnership with our exclusive distributor to:

    • Ensure business growth within the specific region by education activities
    • Analyze product usage results and set directions for actions to grow/ optimize product usage
    • You will have regular visits with key hospital accounts to educate and build relations with HCPs and KOLs and to help troubleshoot patient’s rehabilitation
    • You will support launches of new products, actively search for new business development opportunities
    • Together with our distributor you will support the creation and implementation of local marketing strategy
    • Participate in/ Organize marketing events, workshops, symposia, scientific conferences, congresses  
    • Co-operate with scientific associations, groups of patients, lary clubs, etc.
    • Monitor the market and competitors' activities in order to recommend changes in marketing strategies

    Direct to Consumer activities (mainly Lary):

    • Ensure increased product usage within your region
    • Lary - Identify all users of Provox voice prosthesis (VP) within local market, build patients database; Trach – identify home care patients, build patients database
    • Track order history, needs and conduct home visits (if possible) or online visits as required
    • Regularly call/ have meetings with patients using voice prosthesis, Heat Moist Exchangers (HME) and adhesives to educate and increase product use and effectiveness
    • Lary: Support our HME patients in paperwork regarding gaining products (private insurance); Trach: Support our Tube, HME, Accessories patients in paperwork regarding gaining products (private insurance)
    • Drive new patient acquisition by gaining new consent forms
    • Co-operate with distributor to support SLP association with trainings, work with local patients association to promote proper use of our products and increase uptake of our products

    Ostomy Care: Market Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop the Ostomy Care growth strategy for South Africa:

    • Across a diverse market, develop the mid – and long-term plan to drive growth in Ostomy Care, whilst driving day to day deliverables. Ensure strong alignment with key HQ functions, and with the Sales Team on opportunities, challenges and, importantly, issue identification and resolution.

    Develop and deliver a strong local value proposition:

    • Use insights and better understanding of market dynamics to formulate strong commercial and tactical plans supported by a relevant and clearly articulated value proposition. Develop effective product and service communication to drive brand preference.

    Operational and strategic portfolio management:

    • Locally, ensure that our market has a strong and relevant portfolio that truly reflects the market dynamics and that enables the delivery of our value proposition at product level.
    • Drive market access through effective management of pricing and building relationships with key stakeholders in the market.

    Stakeholder management and networking:

    • Effectively collaborate to develop partnerships and alliances with key user associations and professional bodies ensuring a platform for driving standard of care in the ostomy care arena. Set up and manage advisory boards and user forums to support strategic direction.

    Qualifications

    • We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded marketer with a proven track record of implementing strategic marketing plans with high impact are essential for success in this role. You can thrive when working with ambiguity in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and enjoy collaborating and communicating creatively to engage colleagues in your ideas. 
    • Minimum 3 years Marketing Qualification - relevant experience in medical device industry would be preferable
    • Strong project management skills across functions
    • Strong business acumen, commercial understanding and can confidently present in any forum
    • Strong analytical skills and good command of excel - excellent numerical skills with an analytical approach to Marketing and the ability to construct fact-based recommendations and business cases
    • Strong ability to internalize the diversity and complexity of the South African market and to identify opportunities based on this
    • Ability and willingness to travel 25%
    • Strong belief in alignment with Coloplast Vision, Mission and Values

    Office Administrator (Cape Town)

    Cape Town Office / Support Centre Management

    • Manage office activities, including procurement, event planning, and any ad hoc tasks required by the Cape Town Sales or Nursing Teams.
    • Communicate and coordinate annual payments and contracts for fire and safety checks, Wi-Fi, office maintenance, access tags, security/armed response, cleaning, waste removal, and clinical supplies.
    • Coordinate, set up, and cater for events at the Cape Town Office.
    • Manage boardroom bookings for the Cape Town Office.
    • Receive stock/sample stock for the Sales Team and coordinate the delivery of marketing materials in the Western Cape.
    • Provide front office support, including basic reception duties and Support Centre diary management on our online system.

    Nursing Administrative Support

    • Administrative support for nursing care resgisters.
    • Conduct stock takes and update stock sheets, flagging any discrepancies that may appear. Compare monthly stock sheets with CommEx.
    • Receive sample order requests, compare with current stock on hand, and coordinate approvals from the relevant team leads.
    • Order nursing consumables with Head Office (e.g., stitch cutters, linen savers).

    Care Support

    • Assist with tracking sample stock sent to consumers from the Cape Town and HQ offices.
    • Manage online bookings for the Cape Town Support Centres and assist with SMS reminders for Support Centres nationwide.
    • Provide ad hoc administrative support such as waybill creation or basic telephonic support.

    General

    • Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and consumer-centric communication with customers.
    • Stay up to date with and comply with all SOPs, providing suggestions for improvement.
    • Participate in ad hoc consumer service-related projects as they arise.

    Essential Qualifications / Experience

    • Tertiary qualification preferred.
    • 3 years’ experience in office administration or practice management preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills (in-person and telephonic).
    • Proven success with organization and time management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to support internal and external customers as well as end users.
    • Must be self-driven with the ability to work independently.
    • Domestic travel required.
    • Must permanently reside in or near Cape Town.
