    Hyperscale /AWS Cloud Sales Specialist

    Objectives of this role

    • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our Hyperscale cloud Business Unit offerings
    • Maximize the sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight to the needs and lifestyle of the client
    • Working closely with other areas / key stakeholders of the organisation
    • Consistently meet sales and activity quotas and targets
    • Generate leads and commit to customer service by building relationships
    • Adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
    • Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research in the specialised area
    • Understand competitive solutions

    Skills and Experience

    What you’ll do:

    • Generate leads, hunt new business, and grow existing relationships, maintaining an accurate, detailed client book, and developing an active, repeat customer base.
    • Work with the other sales individuals to design industry-specific outbound sales
    • Utilize CRM effectively to ensure standard processes during all sales stages
    • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes and provide required reporting
    • Presenting and demonstrating the value of Hyperscale cloud Business Unit solutions and value proposition
    • Reaching agreed targets for Hyperscale cloud Business Unit
    • Assist and drive Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific tenders
    • Assist Key account managers and Strategic account managers with our Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific sales or any related sales actions required
    • Realise revenue and margin targets and maximise sales opportunities through connecting client needs with our offerings and solutions
    • Approach the management, decision makers, influencers of prospective leads or sales
    • Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulating how we can add value through Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific solutions
    • Build solid relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities
    • Develop open and effective channels of communication with all stakeholders
    • Complete Sales proposals

    Your expertise:

    • Current sales experience in AWS/ Hyperscale business/sales experience
    • Experience closing Corporate and enterprise level deals
    • Ability to analyse business opportunities and read situations well
    • Proven success rate at levels above quotas
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to take ownership
    • Incumbent must have proven business acumen with experience in all levels including C-suite stakeholder engagement.
    • Sales business acumen - The skills supporting successful selling through organizational and business outcome mindset.
    • Success will require focusing on planning, leveraging tools and Software Development, and concentrating on business requirements. Developing the skills to understand your client’s business (including commercial and financial aspects) to bring value to them from our portfolio of services.
    • Sales client engagement and management: The skills used to effectively manage and analyse the client throughout the client lifecycle, with the goal of improving client relationships and driving sales growth.
    • Success will require detailed understanding of client needs, effective sales planning, and building trust, all while managing to client expectations. Developing the skills required to know your client, building effective & lasting relationships with them and to be seen as a trusted advisor.
    • Sales solution skills - The knowledge of Hyperscale cloud Business Unit offerings, client applications, use cases and market trends and the skill to apply them to individual client and prospect situations that positions the sales team member as an expert client advisor.
    • Success will require the ability to link our offerings, including high-value services to specific client and prospect needs and outcomes.
    • Sales pursuit - The skills and knowledge that enable a sales team member to create success by identifying and advancing opportunities at assigned prospects and clients.
    • Success will require both individual ownership as well as accountability for coordinating internal and external resources in order to close sales opportunities.
    • Understanding of general sales processes and planning for success.

    Project Manager

    What you’ll do:

    • Lead the end-to-end management of IT, software development, and finance-related projects.
    • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
    • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, finance professionals, and business stakeholders.
    • Manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Implement Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or Waterfall methodologies, depending on project needs.

    Service Manager

    What you’ll do:

    SOC Operations Management

    • Oversee the performance and operations of the SOC, ensuring SLA and KPI adherence.
    • Supervise security analysts, shift leads, and third-party service providers.
    • Maintain a 24/7 operational readiness of the SOC to detect and respond to security incidents.

    Incident Management and Response

    • Ensure timely detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents.
      Coordinate with incident response teams to manage and resolve incidents effectively.
      Develop post-incident reports and lessons-learned documentation to improve SOC performance.

    Service Delivery and Quality Assurance

    • Ensure SOC services meet contractual obligations and customer expectations.
      Conduct regular service reviews and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders..
      Monitor and enhance the quality of threat intelligence, monitoring, and response capabilities.

    Team Leadership and Development

    • Train and retain top talent for the SOC team.
      Assist management and conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship to team members.
      Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

    Process and Technology Improvement

    • Evaluate and propose tools, technologies, and processes to enhance SOC capabilities.
      Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure interoperability of systems and tools.
      Develop and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and documentation.

    Reporting and Metrics

    • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management on SOC operations.

      Track and analyse metrics related to incidents, SLA compliance, and team performance.

    Your expertise:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Experience managing 24/7 operations and working with geographically dispersed teams.
    • Proven experience in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
    • Basic IT Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (IP, DNS, TCP/IP), and common security protocols.
    • Relevant experience in cybersecurity, especially within a SOC environment
    • Practical experience in IT and networking roles
    • Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies.
    • Knowledge of common attack vectors, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001).
    • Familiarity with scripting or automation for process improvement.

    Qualifications required:

    Education:

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field

    Certifications (preferred):

    • Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH can be advantageous.

    What you’ll do:

    • Ensuring that the relevant replacements required per project is attended to timeously.
