    Human Resources Manager - (REF: HRM/35/24)

    Minimum Job Requirements: 

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology/Business Administration with at least 8 years relevant human capital experience, of which five (5) years must be at middle management level. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite.
    • A post graduate qualification or an MBA/MBL and Registration with relevant professional body will be an added advantage. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Reporting to the Executive Manager – Corporate Services, the incumbent will be responsible for: 

    • Developing and implementing human capital strategies, policies, procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Supporting and advising the organisation on Change Management initiatives in order to address the organizational culture Champion the development of a human capital pipeline in partnership with Managers in order to attract, develop and retain the best talent in support of sustainability of the organisation 
    • Conduct workforce analysis, determining optimum staff requirements and design of the organizational structure that maximizes synergies across functions to support the approved strategic plan 
    • Ensuring that the job analysis is conducted in order to develop job descriptions and competency profiles to facilitate human capital planning, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, job evaluation and structure design as well as career planning

    Legal Services Practitioner - (REF NO. HRM/36/24)

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) with at least 5 years’ experience, of which 3 years must be at supervisory level. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Admission as an Attorney/Advocate is mandatory. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Providing the necessary and professional legal advice and support to Lepelle Northern Water
    • Draft, review and amend legal prescripts, policies, regulations, contracts, memoranda of understanding, service level agreements and other legal documents on behalf of LNW Manage general litigation on behalf of LNW in consultation with legal practitioners / office of the State Attorney Research and report on unique legal issues impacting the LNW 
    • Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the LNW Document and maintain legal files for ease reference 
    • Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff Facilitate the promotion of an effective relationship with all stakeholders Management and development of staff 
    • Compile and monitor budget for legal services Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures, code of ethics.

    ICT Business Analyst (REF No. HRM/37/24)

    Minimum Job Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology coupled with 4 years relevant experience in ICT environment of which 2 years’ experience must be at a supervisory level. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Reporting to the ICT Applications Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for: Systematic and methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business area in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use across applications 
    • impact analysis to identify all affected interfaces by new systems or change to existing systems 
    • Act as a bridge between the business and the ICT Unit Document the underlying business architecture and conduct feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, writes proposals, and major changes to existing applications of Information and Communication Technology

    Accountant Revenue (REF NO. HRM/38/24)

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting or Accounting Science coupled with 4 years related experience in Revenue Management of which 2 years should be at a supervisory level. A valid driver’s license is a pre-requisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be advantageous

    Key Responsibilities: -

    • Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing of revenue account to all customers
    • Implementation of credit control policy to ensure collection of revenue Ensure adequate coordination between the revenue and production team to for accuracy and completeness of meter readings 
    • Debtors assessment and annual impairment of account receivable in line with GRAP 104. Implementation of investment policy to ensure LNW maximizes return on investment. 
    • Monitoring, control and reconciliation of bank account.
    • Manage and reconcile Petty cash accountsEngage both internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes. 
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the unit Ensures compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.

    Inventory Officer (REF NO. HRM/39/24)

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Supply Chain Management or Logistics coupled with 4 years’ experience in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management environment of which 2 years’ experience should be at Supervisory Level.     • Developing and establishing inventory processes 
    • Develop and ensure implementation of internal control system on inventory management 
    • Prepare and report monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation of stock items Prepare journals on stock discrepancies and capture on SAP system 
    • Maintenance of the stock items (physically and on the SAP system) Identify redundant stock items and recommend for removal 
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual stock counting Identification and disposal of obsolete or damaged stock
    • Prepares write-off reports for approval and capturing on the SAP System Managing the receiving and issuing of goods / stock 
    • Establishment of storehouse Identification and management of stock levels 
    • Ensure financial compliance and monitor the system in terms of the PFMA and all relevant pieces of legislation

    Senior Procurement Officer - (REF NO. HRM/40/24)

    Minimum Job Requirements 

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management with at least 4 years experience in Supply Chain Management environment, of which 2 years must be at supervisory level.     Senior Laboratory Technician: Microbiology (REF NO. HRM/41/24

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma in Microbiology/Biotechnology coupled with at least 4 years’ experience in a laboratory environment of which 2 years should be at the supervisory level. Certificate in ISO 17025 Laboratory Systems Course and experience in Microbiology laboratory methods (Cholera, Somatic Coliphages, Protozoan parasites).
    • Previous experience as a Technical Signatory in SANAS accredited laboratory. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Professional registration with a relevant professional body (SACNASP) will be advantageous. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    Reporting to the Laboratory Superintendent, the Senior Laboratory Technician will be responsible for: 

    • Adhering to Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 
    • Compile, implement and validate new methods Provide timeous results of routine and non-routine samples received serve as Technical Signatory and participate in Laboratory Proficiency Schemes 
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory in proficiency test scheme (SABS) and initiate corrective action conduct root-cause-analysis on closing of non-conformances raised in internal and external audits 
    • Maintains the laboratory accreditation, and increase scope of accreditation with new methods 
    • Maintain records on Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), as per ISO 17025 requirements, compilation of reports, doing results cross- check Receives and records all routine and non-routine samples 
    • Manages and controls stock of crucial reagents and chemicals Prepares budget for laboratory chemicals, reagents and instrument 
    • Responsible for daily and periodic calibration of instruments and react on outlier results 
    • Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies, procedures and code of ethics

    Gis Technician - (REF. NO. HRM/42/24)

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics coupled with 4 years’ experience in the project or asset management environment of which 2 years’ experience should be at supervisory level. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be advantageous. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    Reporting to the Infrastructure Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for: 

    • Developing a wide variety of computerised maps, and map layers 
    • Drafts or digitise the information into a computer data base Undertakes spatial analysis with regards to GIS projects 
    • Conduct quality assurance on layers for accuracy 
    • Conduct research on GIS technologies to keep up with developments in the geo-spatial industry, introduces new methods/technology for solving spatial data problems 
    • Participates in the relevant GIS forums Implements new GIS standards 
    • Identifies and correct GIS errors 
    • Establishes and maintains GIS and computer data files Determines scale, line size and colour to print hard copies of computerised maps 
    • Interprets and research legal descriptions on recorded deeds, servitudes and survey maps 
    • Trains end users to interpret source documents and use automated drafting equipment Develops and implement a GIS information system’s policies and procedures 
    • Captures electronically and manages existing and expansion infrastructure information, spatial data from various formats and sources on the GIS information system Sources spatial information from various data custodians Advises on the coordination of systems and projects 
    • Updates and maintains Geo-database and all manual and electronic records Produces customised maps to meet client’s needs 
    • Acquires and maintains GIS equipment, software, data, tools and products as well as updates of GIS software and renewal of licenses 
    • Adheres to pre-established Assessor and GIS mapping conventions and follows pre-established procedures and sequences 
    • Provides geographical support to internal and external stakeholders 
    • Performs on site supervision, planning and implementation of projects 
    • Submits technical reports for the sub unit Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies, procedures and code of ethics.
