    Payroll Supervisor

    • The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of the payroll processing operations. The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate calculation of monthly earnings, company contributions and employee deductions across all the Company’s African entities. The successful candidate will supervise payroll, benefits and statutory compliance and identify unusual or incorrect movements on the payrolls under this portfolio. . This will help us excel to stay ahead of the game.

    What you’ll be doing

    As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

    • Lead the payroll process to ensure accurate, compliant and timely salary payments
    • Ensure timeous reconciliation of the payrolls and ensure the on-time availability of Month-end Reports
    • Ensure the correct administration of third-party payments on behalf of the employees – including garnishee orders, provident funds and medical aid administration
    • Verification of payrun input for all entities
    • Review payroll reports for initial review and in preparation for final payroll sign-off by the Payroll Manager
    • Review statutory returns in preparation for final payroll sign-off by the Payroll Manager
    • System management in terms of software updates, tax file updates per entity as and when required
    • Assist the Payroll team with statutory returns across all entities
    • Ensure monthly tax submissions are saved and paid in preparation for audits
    • Ensure all supporting documentation for each monthly payroll is saved for all entities as required for audits

    Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

    The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

    • Diploma in Payroll Administration
    • Minimum 5 years working experience on SAGE PEOPLE 300 (Superuser)
    • Minimum 3 years supervising experience
    • Experience in processing multiple payrolls with a total headcount of +-1000 employees
    • Strong multi-national tax knowledge
    • Advanced Microsoft excel skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Word and Outlook
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
    • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
    • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
    • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations

    Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

    • It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
    • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
    • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
    • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies

    Senior Designer

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Senior Designer is responsible for producing all assigned marketing collateral both creatively and technically, working closely with the Head of Design and all stakeholders in the business to ensure that creative outputs consistently fulfil business requirements and also drive the business in new and exciting directions. The Senior Designer specialises in conceptualising and creating fresh, original and memorable work across all digital platforms.
    • Develop the look and feel for various digital campaigns
    • Conceptualise and create banners for Conversion, Retention, Affiliate, Brand, New Markets, Product and CSI
    • Interpret and execute creative briefs from concept to design to roll-out
    • Have a comprehensive understanding of the context for the content you are creating
    • Provide creative and technical guidance, coach and inspire Junior Designer/s
    • Work closely with a Copywriter to develop campaigns locally and for Africa
    • Deliver creative that is in line and compliant with the CI
    • Work with Traffic to ensure deadlines are met
    • Ensure languages are inserted correctly
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
    • Ensure that all links work
    • Attend daily stand up meetings with the Creative & CI Lead, HOD and Traffic
    • Consistently develop fresh and original proactive work and come up with ideas beyond the brief
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
    • Share best practices and cutting-edge work with the team
    • Build and maintain effective relationships within the team as well all stakeholders in the business
    • Question the brief upfront to gain an understanding of the offering and the creative needed to sell it

    Skills And Experience Required

    • 3 year Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising
    • 5-6 years’ experience in Design, 2 years of which is at a senior level
    • Advanced level in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
    • Basic understanding of UI
    • After Effects and Dreamweaver advantageous
    • Good command over design techniques and visual elements
    • Good aesthetic sense, creative thinking with strong attention to detail
    • Consistent high standard and quality of work
    • Good time management
    • Problem solving skills is a necessity
    • High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritize and be proactive.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Work overtime when needed during peak campaign season
    • Interest in sport would be ideal
