Job Description

• To lead the Production team in the execution of the production plan, on time, safely and at minimal cost.
• Manage a production team and control quality, processes and systems (TCCQS, maintenance and safety) in order to achieve maximum efficiencies and minimal losses. 
• Manage and maintain the output of volumes of product in the unit
• Manage the use of raw materials and ensure limited wastage
• Lead Team 
• Ensure effective Quality control of manufacturing unit as per TCCQS’s requirements
• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the TCCQS, Safety and Maintenance systems
• WCO Implementation
• Cost management

Skills, Experience & Education

• Minimum of a 3-year National Diploma (NQF6), in relevant field
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a FMCG environment

Skills, Experience & Education

• Grade 12 Certificate 
• Experience in a FMCG environment is advantageous 
• Knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing machinery/ equipment
• Knowledge of computer control equipment in a manufacturing environment
