DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Perform electronical and mechanical diagnostic tests on tractors to identify faults and issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing oil, filters, and belts, lubricating parts, and adjusting engine components.
• Performs additional duties and special projects as needed or directed
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities performed on each tractor.
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance required on their equipment.
• Provide recommendations for regular maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and how to operate tractors safely and effectively.
• Provide guidance on how to identify and respond to potential problems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned:
• Assist with other tasks such as inventory management, cleaning and organising the workshop, and training new technicians.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Completed Trade Test Certificate (Tractor, Motor or Diesel)
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with tractors or agricultural equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in tractors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and parts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and accountability in all aspects of the job.

Financial Management & Administration

• Compile and monitor annual budgets and forecasts
• Manage financial performance to meet targets
• Handle sales logistics, admin, delivery reports, and accounting processes

Marketing & Sales Execution

• Conduct market research and analysis
• Develop and execute marketing plans and sales strategies
• Organize and participate in demos, customer visits, and advertising campaigns
• Handle pre-selling, sales transactions, and trade-in evaluations

Customer Service

• Maintain and update customer database
• Provide after-sales service and manage queries

Stock Forecasting

• Forecast and manage stock per branch
• Coordinate logistics, transfers, and quality control of equipment
• Conduct regular stock counts and manage second-hand goods

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field would be beneficial
• At least 5 years of Relevant sales and marketing experience in agricultural equipment.
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans an advantage)
• Understanding of agricultural equipment, sales, marketing, customer service, financing, and supply chain processes.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and time management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable under pressure, and effective in conflict resolution.
• Works well independently and in a team, with professional communication and strong customer focus.

• Senwes is seeking the services of a Technology Support Technician who will be responsible for the installation, configuration, identification, analysis and possible remediation of technology defects at an infrastructure level, to enable continued successful operation of critical functional components enabling logical and/or physical devices that directly impact access and availability of end user functionality.

 Provide technology support technician peer support.

• Support peers to drive the installation, configuration, identification, analysis and possible remediation of technology defects at an infrastructure level in order to sustain optimal availability and reliability of technology functionality critical to business operations.

Ensure governance and compliance of service outcomes.

• Define, document, review and execution of standards and procedures aligned to management and enterprise operating standards.

Perform technology component installations and/or configuration.

• Provide end-to-end management, coordination and execution of defined and scheduled activities driving the realisation of outcomes defined, prioritised and agreed through formal customer requirement definition and prioritisation processes.

 Conduct maintenance and fault resolution of installed and/or configured technology components.

• Perform ongoing maintenance of installed technology components and the diagnosis and resolution of identified and formally recorded faults.

Requirements

• Qualifications: National Senior Certificate and Microsoft MCSE Training (A+, N+ with Application and/or Technology Support General Expertise will receive preference).
• Requirements (South Africa): 5+ Years relevant experience.
