    Africa Technology CIB provides technology support to the organisation's corporate and investment banking sectors.  Activities are grouped into three areas, namely Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking. The Prime Services IT team is responsible for development, enhancement and maintenance of all Post Trade vendor and bespoke application suites that fall within the Markets business area.

    Prime Service IT is at the point where it needs to expand on its resourcing due to a number of systems it currently support. Hiring would thus give Prime Service IT team the ability to contribute meaningfully within CIB and moreover and more value to Prime Service business.

     

    As a .Net Developer / Product Engineer will you be required to:

    • Translate, design, build bespoke applications given a set of requirements

    • Assist business during QA testing, resolving bugs and issues as their being discovered

    • Collaborate with IT/Business for any technical assistance required

    • Diagnose production issues and provide assistance to production support staff (2nd level support)

    • Participate in agile methodologies and practices as agreed within the team

    • Complete any technical documentation impacting the work done

    • Determine the most effective and efficient software design to meet the specifications

    Strategic Leadership and Planning

    • Leads and takes accountability for multiple business units and product streams by evaluating both market and technology opportunities for improvement of Digital products and features on offer.

    Product Development

    • Guide and advise a cross-functional team through the entire strategic and tactical product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap to development, refinement, ongoing optimization, growth and finally product retirement. 
    • Implement and nurture a product development culture within business units.

    DevOps

    Assistant Cyber Systems Technology

    Job Description

    What you’ll get to do:

    The role is within the Converged Security Office and your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Developing, testing, Implementing and sometimes documenting security monitoring solutions to enforce security strategies and support to new/existing systems in accordance with policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

    • Serve as a trusted partner to business, operations, development, risk and compliance teams providing security monitoring solutions subject matter expert (SME) guidance and analysis.
