    International Sales Manager (ZN_Sales_Manager)

    • The Sales Manager will require a detailed understanding and full utilization of the travel sales network in our international markets, also at multiple levels in line with a multi-channel business.

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities

    Sales Management and Development

    •  Aggressively pursue sales targets for both &Beyond bed and DMC sales
    • Sales/Brand Representation and Negotiation
    • Represent &Beyond and the brand at major sales/trade show events
    • Ensure that you have a detailed understanding of the marketing drivers that drive revenue
    • Creating and conducting proposal presentations and &Beyond responses. Assisting the market Sales Teams in preparation of proposals and presentations
    • Conduct appropriate follow up until deals are closed

    Finance:

    • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
    • Through creative thinking and implementation of sales initiatives, achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth

      General:

    • Adhere to all &Beyond policies, procedures and business ethics codes
    • Maintain and develop &Beyond corporate image and reputation, and protect and develop the company's brands

    Health and Safety

    • Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
    • Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
    • Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
    • Correct utilisation of appropriate personal protective equipment

    Market Sales Team – Responsibilities

    • Prepare, Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate identified markets
    • Search for sales leads and prospects
    • Assist in the development and implementation of sales & marketing plans as needed      
    • Conduct reviews with all market Sales Team members to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance
    • Provide timely feedback to market Sales Team regarding performance
    • Ensure that you meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, closes and reporting
    • Maintain contact with Key market &Beyond clients in the market area and internally to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
    • Demonstrate ability to interact, cooperate and mentor all &Beyond employees

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Sales and luxury tourism product and Africa DMC experience preferred
    • Exposure to world class sales management/ transformation and digital/e-commerce practices a distinct advantage
    • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding stretch sales targets
    • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
    • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals

      QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury travel environment
    • 2 years proven Sales Management track record / Applicable Degree/ Diploma will be given preference

    Junior Sous Chef (Phinda Forest_Chef)

    OUTPUTS:

    • Ensure the highest health and hygiene standards are set and adhered to
    • Sound knowledge of correct usage of cleaning chemicals, ensuring adequate cleaning materials available at all times
    • Abide by the menu set according to Food Styling Guide and approved by &Beyond Food Fundi
    • Work with the &Beyond training chef when visits are conducted and be feedback fit
    • Work with Executive Chef to ensure effective implementation of Chef Academy training program
    • Up to date with What’s Hot & What’s Not for & Beyond Food
    • Through the Tummy of the Guest Bops
    • Quality and quantity control of all food items leaving the kitchen including those of snacks to game drives and Adventures.
    • Bush banqueting, drink stops picnics etc. to have checklists etc.
    • Proactive maintenance of the food preparation environments
    • Good stock controls and stock rotation
    • Good interaction with Guests, Food Fundis and other & Beyond Chefs:  Invite feedback, exchange ideas; suggestion-friendly; share experience
    • Good discipline and fair treatment: Be a Role Model
    • Good Teamwork to be promoted
    • Have Fun and be Flexible
    • Always be approachable
    • Be aware of & make your fellow chefs aware of special dietary needs for Guests.
    • When special dietary Guests arrive at the lodge ensure that either yourself or another chef meets the Guest before their first meal to establish their requirements.
    • Ensure you have “911” Emergency food stored in your freezer to be used in a crisis.
    • Reports any issues/problems to management
    • Strict food costs and awareness of budgets.
    • Left-over management: left-overs to be discussed and processed every day
    • Assist with food orders
    • Ensure all fridges and refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and locked and key control is practised
    • Good discipline and fair treatment: Chef to be a Role Model
    • Always be approachable, innovative and able to work unsupervised
    • Oversee and lead the Pastry Section

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
    • Standard of your work must exceed the standard of the lodge
    • Good organisational ability
    • Lateral thinking ability
    • Handles pressure in a professional manner
    • HACCP Knowledge
    • Knowledge and experience with PANstrat would be advantageous

    • Strong pastry skills with experience in creating high-quality desserts

    • Valid unendorsed SA driver’s license essential.

    PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff
    • All-rounder, knowledge of pastry and hot section
    • At least 3+ years relevant experience
    • Passion for creating fabulous food
    • Passion for kitchen management – including all kitchen administration, general hygiene and people management

    Credit Controller (Credit Controller)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Accurate allocation of payments received via the various channels available. 
    • Actively collecting payments according to andBeyond payment terms
    • Assisting with Tourplan queries from consultants and other related parties 
    • Reviewing the Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly and providing detailed feedback.
    • Attending monthly Debtors Review meetings with the reservations managers
    • Send invoices, account statements and payment reminders to agents.
    • Escalating and resolving queries in line with predetermined internal processes
    • Conduct monthly debtors review with Sales and DMC Managers and Directors
    • Reviewing unallocated cash weekly
    • Debtors Reconciliations
    • Weekly Bank reconciliations
    • Month end processes
    • Ad hoc duties as needed.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Knowledge of Excel
    • General Accounting Principles
    • Experience in preparing debtors reconciliations, and resolving queries.
    • Experience in a debtor’s department in the Hospitality Industry is advantageous
    • Knowledge of Tourplan is advantageous.
