    Registered Nurse x2

    Summary

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost-effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies. As a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent is also responsible for and is held accountable for his/her acts and omissions
    • The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing, and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs
    • Is a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care and will actively participate in clinical governance, auditing of health records to ensure compliance, ensuring all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately, effective risk prevention and management, managing acuity and skill mix to ensure an appropriate level of care

    Requirements

    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
    • Possession of a relevant critical nursing care qualification is essential
    • + 1 - 5 Years of working experience in the same position
    • Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable healthcare legislation

    Work Experience

    • Working experience in private healthcare or the healthcare funding industry will be advantageous
    • Experience with cardio-thoracic or ventilated patients is essential
    • Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation

    Knowledge

    • Computer Literacy essential
    • Fluent communication in English is essential

    Summary

    Enrolled Nurse -Medical Ward

    Summary

    • The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and functions under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse in accordance with hospital standards and policies

    Kronos Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

    Summary

    • The Kronos Assistant will provide administrative and system support for the Kronos/UKG Time and Attendance system, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with workforce management processes, and effective support to HR, Payroll, and operational stakeholders. The role will also contribute to system maintenance, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement initiatives

    Key Responsibilties:

    • Support the administration and maintenance of the Kronos/UKG Time and Attendance system
    • Monitor employee timekeeping records and ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving time and attendance system queries
    • Support managers and employees with Kronos-related issues and training
    • Review attendance data and identify discrepancies requiring corrective action
    • Assist with pay-rule administration and exception management
    • Generate and distribute workforce management and attendance reports
    • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to ensure accurate employee data management
    • Participate in system testing and process improvement initiatives
    • Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures

    Requirements

    • Relevant qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in workforce management

    Ward Administrator

    Summary

    • The incumbent will be responsible for coordination of all secretarial & Billing duties in the ward as well as receiving all new patients, visitors and doctors. This individual will also be responsible for stock and all stock control within the unit

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • SAP Will be an advantage

    • Ensuring stock levels are at the required levels (stationery and ward stock)
    • Completion of stock cycle counts
    • Ensuring that the patient’s records are captured according to the standard operation procedure for patient admission in the wards
    • Ensuring stock used within the unit is billed and SAP quantity balances with physical values
    • To manage the stock count processes and teams for stock takes
    • To provide operational support to hospital stock controller when need arises
