    Quality (TCS) Graduate

    Main purpose of the role
    The TCS Graduate is responsible to support the SAF TCS Manager with coordination / administration of TCS related tasks to promote Total Customer Satisfaction and ensure adherence to Customer and Internal Requirements

    Essential Responsibilities And Duties

    • As a TCS Graduate, your main responsibilities are to support / coordinate the following tasks for the SAF TCS Manager and Country Team :

    Total Customer Satisfaction

    • Support with tracking of TCS APP tickets to ensure on time responses / reporting of results
    • Assist with Quality Workshop arrangements / administration and consolidation of data for reporting
    • Assist with Quality Training and Awareness Campaign materials / administration
    • Assist to monitor AMS completion / close out on the system and follow up with Plants on outstanding information
    • Assist with Quality Awareness training and promoting the Quality Culture
    • Support with 8QB Audits and follow up on Action Plans Status
    • Assist TCS Manager with assignments / improvement initiatives to implement Quality Basics / FES in plants
    • Manage SAF Warranty Database / Data Analysis

    Non Quality Cost

    • Monitor Daily Scrap reports to detect any deviations from target. Liaise with Plants to obtain Convergence Plans / details of reasons for deviations.
    • Assist to set up Scrap / NQC review sessions. Assist to track actions on convergence plans to monitor effectiveness / close out.

    Reporting

    • Monitor QSS and track any outstanding information / data not reported on time & overdue QPs
    • Assist with consolidating of weekly Flash Reports and Monthly PODs with Plant Reporting personnel to ensure data accuracy and on time reporting.
    • Follow up on Scrap Convergence Plans / Improvement Activities
    • Ensure Program Quality Reporting conducted on time, escalation of non reporting / issues identified

    Qualifications And Position Requirements

    • Education: National Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification in quality / technical (Engineering).

    Knowledge and experience :

    • Established decisive team player
    • Good Communication skills
    • Solid Computer skills (Microsoft Office / Teams / Outlook, etc)
    • Good Collaboration / administrative skills
    • Able to work under pressure, assertive
    • Languages: Proven oral and written communication skills with English
    • Computer literate. Able to compile reporting / training materials in Microsoft Office environment.

    ME Trainee/Intern

     MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • The ME Graduate supports the ME Team in the deployment of the manufacturing and engineering activities of the plant and deploys according to Group’s policy.

     The main missions of the role are to:

    • To assist all PPTL’s and Process Engineers in all manufacturing & engineering processes.

    Country PC&L Manager level 1

    Main Mission

    The main duties of the Division PC&L Manager are as follows :

    • Define and deploy a mid-term strategy for the PC&L function, contributing to the overall South Africa Country business objectives and targeting industry benchmark levels,
    • Implement and drive Group/Division initiatives like 8DOH project,
    • Define targets and be accountable for results of the PC&L performance indicators,
    • Implement standard organisation, manage & develop his/her direct and functional reports, maintain succession plan to ensure the animation of the network,
    • Implement, Maintain & develop the tools and processes towards efficiency and compliance,
    • Maintain & develop the training offer to ensure people awareness and skills.
    • Ensure successful operation of platform activity (Material planning & traffic scheduling) and ensure optimal levels of inventory. (Just Needed Inventory)
    • Optimise normal transport costs and ensure performance to budget,
    • Optimisation of packaging costs and implementation of standards,
    • Design and develop logistic concepts, do costing and support operations in implementation of all new programs.

    Specific Activities

    Strategy

    • Identify the PC&L levers to contribute to the Division Strategy, interfacing with the BG Supply Chain.
    • Define a mid-term roadmap based on the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of Division PC&L and the objective to reach industry benchmark. Revise the roadmap once per year.
    • Ensure the communication on the roadmap and the buy-in from the functional network and key stakeholders (Management, Operations Directors, Purchasing, Sales & Programs …),
    • Follow-up and report on the achievement of the roadmap objectives.

    Performance

    • Track monthly performance indicators. Ensure reporting to Division and BG Management,
    • Define and follow-up convergence plans with the Plants and Programs.

    Management &Training

    • Provide support (technical/managerial) to his/her team, escalate issues upon need,
    • Manage the skills of his/her direct and functional team, define the training plans in relation with line Managers and HR. Conduct the annual assessments of team members,
    • Lead People Reviews,
    • Develop relationships with selected Universities in relevant Regions,
    • Ensure adherence to department budget (hours/ travel costs/ investments/ workload).

    Tools & Standards

    • Scope: Costing, Programs, Launch, Information Flows/Systems, Internal flows, Packaging, Transport Operations & Engineering
    • Normative watch (transport & customs regulations…)
    • Internal & external benchmark (trade fairs, professional press, packaging suppliers, other Divisions and BGs, other industries, …),
    • Initiate breakthrough initiatives; overlook the development of pilots up to the validation of the new concepts,
    • Document and standardize the new concepts in relation with the Group PC&L and AMSC functions; deploy the related training modules upon need.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • Tertiary Qualification in Supply-Chain Management
    • Relevant Experience in Operations, including Safety and Quality basics

    Master Schedular

    Main Mission

    The role of the Master scheduler in a plant is to ensure the customer requirement by levelling the activity of the plant production floor, at the minimum stock level possible.

    He or she is accountable for:

    • Customer communication, right usage of customer systems and tools, Customer order integrations and fulfillment at the right Engineering level,
    • PDP ( Master production schedule) establishment ( Formal Multifunction Process + FCS registration) and the monitoring of the PDP execution from PC&L point of view
    • PIC inputs ( Sales & Operation Plan  inputs) : Customer demand, forecast, customer assumptions, working days and  targets inventories, 
    • Finished goods inventories (TPA, Pool stock, Goods in transit, External WHs and consignment stocks if exist).

    Deliverables, Performance Indicators

    • Delivery  performance: customer MPM, Customer Backlog,
    • Alerts follow up: # or alerts raised, resolution effectiveness, time to solve…
    • Cost effectiveness: Premium freight cost to customer linked to non-proper PDP decisions,
    • Inventories : Pool stock sizing, TPA sizing, Gap to Finished goods inventory budget

    Specific activities

    Execution

    • Receive the customer needs in a proper format and integrate It into FCS, manage if applicable the customer portal ( Releases, shipment confirmations, empty management, ASN  …)
    • Analyze and understand the customer needs (Including aftermarket business), discuss, comment and  negotiate them with the customer to align
    • Ensure Dry out and SOP phases of Engineering changes and/or new programs
    • Implement  the PDP ( MPS) for the plant according to PIC  guidance, updated customer’s needs, and PC&L manager guidance ( Weekly) and monitor the PDP execution to ensure the delivery plan and the customer needs :  
    1. Last week performance
    2. Demand planning
    3. Production arbitration
    4. PDP meeting then MRP
    5. PDP output and monitoring (using standard tools available like Levelling board picture, diagonal, Preactor,….)
    • Manage and check the pool and safety stocks levels designed during the PIC and confirmed with the PDP, ensure weekly review of the FCS min/max stock objectives,
    • Follow the delivery planning to customer including returnable flows, monitor eventual gaps to plan  with Traffic scheduling and lead  Alerts resolutions
    • Monitor the delivery performance ( MPM registration) and drive related QRCI
    • Prepare the Inputs of the S&OP ( PIC) on monthly basis to be able to propose to the plant team a leveled vision of the volumes to optimize the resources, under the guidance of the PC&L manager,
    • Manage any claims  to customer related to Mix change or Engineering obsolescence at plant level and in collaboration with Sales department

    Process standardization and development

    • Ensure the  Update and reliability of Mater data related Master scheduling
    • Lead the proper usage of PDP tools ( Pic and PDP into FCS, MIP) and Customers tools ( Customer portal for example), and is accountable for Plants work instructions
    • Ensure the accuracy Faurecia Delivery performance reporting (MPM.net) and Customer portal information if applicable

    Relationship Management

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on time finished goods delivery to customers, to avoid any issues related to Engineering change management of mix changes

    Management & Training

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • Bachelor's degree in industrial or supply-chain management
    • Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication,
    • SAP knowledge appreciated, especially PP module ( SD and MM are a plus)
    • Minimum bi-lingual (English + one other languages)
    • Customer orientation / Team spirit / Autonomy, rigor
