    Medical Specialist

    Requirements :

    • MBCHB degree and Registration with the HPCSA as a specialist in Family Medicine. Good leadership skills, excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, conflict resolution and good interpersonal relationship skills.
    • Good resource management, problem solving and decision making skills. The successful candidate must be adaptable, disciplined, and self-confident. The candidate must be able to work independently and under pressure and beyond normal working hours, and work with a diverse team.

    Duties :

    • Direct clinical service provision within the assigned clinical department (unit). Provide direct clinical leadership to the department. Formulate treatment guidelines and protocols for the department.
    • To oversee training and supervision of junior doctors. Organize departmental clinical meetings with the doctors, nurses and other category of clinical staff within the unit. Attend meetings for heads of clinical unit and make meaningful contribution in these meetings.

    Operational Manager Nursing (Psychiatry)

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice 425, i.e. diploma degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse, plus a post basic qualification with the duration of at least 1 year in PGD/Advance Psychiatric Nursing Science.

    Operational Manager Nursing (General) Female And Male Medical Ward

    Administrative Officer - Supply Chain Management

    Requirements :

    • A Grade 12 certificate is required, coupled with a National Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 6)/ Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/ Public Management/or equivalent qualification, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.

    Duties :

    • Compile and consolidate the Demand and Procurement Plan and the Institutional Business Plan in line with strategic objectives and budgetary provisions.
    • Conduct commodity analyses and explore alternatives for strategic procurement items to ensure value for money. Align all procurement activities with the institution’s operational requirements and service delivery objectives.
    • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for goods, works, and services in full compliance with: Supply Chain Management prescripts, Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Circulars, and Guidelines.
    • Authorize shopping carts/ requisitions using the SAP-SRM system. Oversee P-Card usage and ensure compliance with institutional procurement controls and audit requirements. Monitor and verify supplier sourcing and registration through the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
    • Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to legislative frameworks and promote fairness, competitiveness, and transparency. Oversee both pre-audit and post-audit processes for acquisition transactions to ensure integrity, accountability, and proper record-keeping. Monitor the provisioning and delivery of procurement orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and adherence to procurement schedules. Ensure the effective implementation of all SCM-related contracts, systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Continuously monitor compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks. Coordinate and provide administrative support to Bid Committees (Evaluation/ Vetting, and Adjudication), ensuring objective and compliant decision-making processes. Serve as advisor to institutional management on best procurement practices, including sourcing strategies and the appropriate use of procurement methods and mechanisms. Oversee stores and inventory accounting functions to ensure proper stock control and compliance with supply chain prescripts.
    • Lead and manage SCM personnel, providing coaching, mentorship, and support. Updating and maintaining of acquisition/progress report for monthly submission.     Logistical Support Officer (Warehouse)

    Requirements :

    • A Grade 12 certificate is required, coupled with a National Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 6)/ Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/ Public Management/ or equivalent qualification, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehouse.
    • Experience in Warehouse Management within a public health institution will be an advantage. Strong leadership skills and ability to interpret and implement policies, directives, and guidelines of the Gauteng Department of Health.
    • Must have the understanding and knowledge of Supply Chain Management and the following prescripts: PFMA, PPPFA, PPR 2022, Treasury Regulations. Good leadership and proactive skills are required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Must have a good understanding of stock management, PFMA, and public health policies. Computer literacy, planning, problem-solving, good leadership, and proactive decision-making skills, paying attention to details, time management, strong written and verbal communication, and interactive skills are essential.

    Duties :

    • To perform administrative and supervisory functions. Plan and allocate daily tasks to the material recording clerk, stores assistants, manage staff leave, and monitor attendance times of staff in the store.
    • Conduct staff performance review and implement performance management development system processes as required. Supervise, train, mentor, and, where necessary, discipline staff to maintain the code of conduct within the respective area of responsibility. Ensure that daily follow-ups are done on the O-9 file.
    • Oversee and ensure accurate and timeous capturing and finalization of received invoices according to SOP. Monitor appropriate management of all processes, including proper record keeping and filing, timeous collection of purchase order documents, and submission of invoices for payments.
    • Ensure effective communication between different stakeholders in facilitating the management of expired stock, stock return documents, and receipt vouchers.
    • Manage and facilitate requisition and utilization of consumables in the designated area.
    • Assist the receiving material recording clerk in resolving receiving-related queries for effective receiving processes.
    • Conduct stock taking periodically and manage the warehouse to ensure that there is always enough stock in the warehouse all the time. Compile the monthly Theoretical Stock report and Bi-Annual Stocktake report. Ensure continuous compliance with SOPs, policies, and Supply Chain Management-related legislation.
    • Participate in warehouse meetings and attend training programs as required. Participate and ensure that the unit complies with the ideal hospital requirements. Be willing to rotate within different sections of the Supply Chain when operationally required.

    Material Recording Clerk (Posting Clerk)

    Requirements :

    • A Grade 12 certificate is required, coupled with a National Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 6)/ Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/Public Management/ or equivalent, plus a computer literacy certificate.     • Inventory management processes, including amongst Issuing stock as per internal requisitions to respective Cost Centres. Prepare Cost Centres report monthly before budget meeting.
    • Proper stock movement recording by updating tally card with transactions for items issued to the End user on VA10, VA4, VA5, VA8 and VA9. Conduct sample stock take, stock control as per allocation and period stock take process as per regulations.
    • Ensuring prompt replenishment of stock as per minimum and maximum stock levels and compile monthly stock reconciliation

    • Handling of end-user queries and reporting on progress. Handle queries presented to the department and provide a report on relevant functions as allocated. Conduct stock taking periodically and ensure that there is always enough stock in the warehouse all the time.
