Positioning:
- A Junior Quantity Surveyor in a mining commercial environment supports the financial and contractual management of mining operations and projects through cost control, measurement, and contract administration. The role involves monitoring project and operational costs, validating completed work, managing contract variations, and assisting with procurement processes to ensure projects remain within budget and compliant with contractual obligations. Cost Management & Control:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for mining projects (CAPEX & OPEX).

- The Document Controller, reporting to the Group Document Control Manager, plays an important role in ensuring that project and operational documentation is properly managed, tracked and maintained throughout its lifecycle.
- This role provides a hands-on document control service, ensuring the effective management and administration of technical and non-technical documentation throughout its lifecycle. Responsibilities include the processing, registration, classification, distribution, tracking, storage, retrieval, archiving, and final handover of documents. The role also ensures that all documentation is accurate, current, appropriately reviewed and approved, and distributed in accordance with established company procedures, processes and compliance requirements.
- A solid technical foundation will enable the incumbent to provide effective document control support to both project and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management – process incoming and outgoing documentation; ensure documentation is correctly classified, registered, change control monitored, stored and maintained in accordance with established standards, procedures and document control requirements.
- Distribution & Transmittals – prepare and issue document transmittals; distribute approved documents/drawings to internal and external stakeholders; ensure timely circulation for review and approval; maintain records of document submissions and distributions; track review comments and coordinate document updates

- Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as SharePoint, Bentley, ProjectWise, Box, Aconex, OpenText or similar platforms.
- Working understanding and implementation of Document Management processes, procedures and systems and how these interrelate with other areas of project and operational activity.

- The Group Financial Accountant is a key junior management role within the Finance Department. As a mining group with all 3 major projects in development and production, this role is responsible for all aspects of project accounting on a standalone and consolidated basis. This role will be involved in all aspects of Group Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis and Tax.
- The output of this position is included in published external reporting as well as reports presented to executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Some of the key focus areas for this role include consolidations and financial reporting, budget preparation and monitoring, treasury management, financial modelling and tax. These functions are crucial to the successful operation of not only the project companies but also to the listed Canadian company. The output of this department and role is vital in ensuring the financial wellbeing of Ivanhoe.

As a critical junior management role within the department, the key responsibilities of this role are:

Purpose of the role:
- Ivanhoe Marketing is a newly established Commodity marketing, Sales and Logistics entity within the Ivanhoe Group of Companies.
- To coordinate, control and monitor daily logistics operations, ensuring all shipments are planned, executed, and tracked in line with operational requirements and service level expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily logistics operations
- Manage the pre-advice of all trucks being captured onto the Software System, including the upkeep of the arrival dates on the system and identify any redundant data.
- Plan movements of Empty trucks being sent to the mine in the evening Convoy.
- Manage all Logistics relating to the movement of cargo by Rail, Rail planning, including the shunting of cargo to the Rail Terminal, and Stock held at the Rail Terminal.
- Ensure LSP volumes are monitored against their committed tonnages and follow up on any potential failings of LSP’s.
- Monitor the arrivals per LSP, ensuring that the LSP split there allocation equally throughout the month.
- Manage the number of Loaded trucks per location, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, moving any excess number of trucks at the Mine to one of the contracted Parking yards.

Data and Administration

- Ensure Routing data supplied aligns with the overall objective of the Offtaker.

- Follow up and Validate all Truck and Rail Manifest on the company’s Software System, ensuring all data inserted is correct and aligns with the companies SOP.

Communication

- Build and maintain relationships with all LSP’s and the Outbound Logistics Loading Team at the Mine.
- Keep all Stakeholders informed in writing of any issues arising.
- Communicate between all parties, including but not limited to, the Mine, Ivanhoe Marketing / Trading and LSP’s and their Site Representatives.
- Capture all Comments inserted under the “Diary of Events” ensuring clear understanding for all stakeholders in event of queries being raise.
