Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new dealership and fleet business
- Cold-call, prospect and visit potential customers
- Engage Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, Parts Managers and fleet owners
- Conduct face-to-face product demonstrations
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
- Plan daily visits, travel routes and customer call cycles
- Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up with clients
- Record sales activity and pipeline progress on Pipedrive CRM
- Submit weekly sales and pipeline reports
- Attend relevant automotive and promotional events
- Check in at the Germiston office daily and manage field activities independently

- Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their team in Germiston.
- This is a field-based B2B sales role for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, getting in front of decision-makers, finding opportunities and turning prospects into long-term customers.
- You won't be sitting behind a desk waiting for leads to come in. You'll be out on the road, meeting businesses, building relationships and growing your own customer portfolio.

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Sales qualification (Advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years' external B2B sales experience.
- Sales experience in these industries: Fuel, Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture (Advantageous)
- A proven track record of winning new business and opening new accounts.
- Comfortable spending most of your working day visiting customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Target-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new commercial fuel customers.
- Cold call prospective clients and secure meetings.
- Visit customers daily and build strong, long-term relationships.
- Manage your own sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to account opening.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Work closely with management to achieve monthly sales and growth targets.
- Build and grow a profitable portfolio of commercial accounts.
