What This Role Actually Means
You'll be the technical architect behind M-KOPA's financial planning transformation. That means:
Designing, building, and owning robust Anaplan models that support everything from annual budgeting and long-range planning to rolling forecasts and scenario modeling across multiple business units and geographies. You'll ensure these models scale, perform, and align with Anaplan best practices—because when you're operating at our velocity, architecture matters.
Owning the integrations between Anaplan and our ERP, CRM, and data lake, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time insights. You'll establish model governance, documentation standards, version control protocols, and security controls that make the platform sustainable as we grow. You'll identify every opportunity for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement—because you understand that great models evolve.
Partnering directly with Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable solutions. You'll lead user training and onboarding, driving platform adoption and ensuring teams become empowered and self-sufficient. You'll work with internal stakeholders and external consultants across time zones and cultures, aligning on design and implementation best practices. What We Need You to Bring:
Certified Anaplan Model Builder (Level 2 or higher)—and if you're a Master Anaplanner, even better.

Strong financial planning knowledge—P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, driver-based forecasting—because you can't model what you don't understand.
