This role is responsible for providing support on the interim and annual reporting process, including other key external reporting projects. The incumbent will work closely with the reporting manager, head of reporting and other key stakeholders within the broader Old Mutual business.
Key responsibilities
Preparation and collation of financial and non-financial information required for the interim and annual reporting process
Assist with robust financial analysis and reporting to the Board, Executive management team and other key stakeholders
Working closely with the Investor Relations team, playing a key support role in reporting to the external market, with focus on analyst presentations, trading statement etc
Working with key stakeholders that include but are not limited to Group Technical Accounting, Group Actuarial, Group Treasury and Balance Sheet, to ensure all published reporting is accurate and presented consistently with the other external reporting deliverables
Provide support to projects and deliverables that require financial input
Requirements, Qualifications and Experience required
Minimum requirement: Recently qualified CA(SA)

Job Description
As a Human Capital Support Specialist within OMF, you will use your skill and passion for management information, qualitative research, technology, data and analytics to develop deeper insights, facilitate evidence-based decision making, and to create compelling business cases for Human Capital initiatives. This role is a manager of self, individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of 3 month-1year.
This role collaborates with all levels of Management and is responsible to provide specialist HC data, analytics and MIS Support in collaboration with Old Mutual Limited Human Capital Team. It is required of this role to conducting both quantitative and qualitative research along with presenting insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities Include:
Establishes and maintains effective HC data collection- and reporting processes and practices.
Ensures the availability of accurate HC information.
Identifies trends to support meaningful HC decisions.
Provides specialist support to the HC Function.
Should have specialist HC knowledge in one or two HC fields (e.g. EE / Talent Acquisition / Skills Development etc.)
This role has a strong focus on working with quantitative and qualitative data / MIS.
Responsible for the compilation and consolidation of information and reports (i.e. dashboards).
Interpretation of reports and presentation of insights.
Having a strong coordination focus with an ability to structure complex tasks.
Providing support with regards to the HC tools that are used in the business (e.g. manpower calculators, Employment Equity calculators, applications, portals).
Providing support with regards to the delivery of HC projects/initiatives.
Managing priorities against tight timelines and a sense of urgency, with have a practical, common sense approach to solving complex problems.
Building key stakeholder relationships internally and externally to enable delivery on HC related initiatives.
In alignment with OML values and culture, collaborate and support HC team and stakeholders to deliver to organisational needs.
Optimize data, processes, and systems in line with HC Strategy.
Maintain input into HC data tools, reporting, and dashboards
Input, produce and deliver standard (Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HC reports.
Respond to HC data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analysing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
Responsible to ensure that own delivery and process is aligned to HC governance and supporting policies.
Supports the HC leadership team by delivering to the required portfolio plan.
Proactively provide solutions to continuously enhance our HC strategy through networking, automation, self-development and process enhancement.
Minimum Requirements:
Matriculation Certificate (Required)
Business, Data/Analytics or Human Capital related certifications / qualification (Advantageous)
3 years experience in big data management, analytics and reporting
Strong MS Excel capability
Experience working with data management systems

Assesses information risk and facilitates remediation of identified vulnerabilities with the network, systems and applications.
Reports on findings and recommendations for corrective action.
Performs vulnerability assessments as assigned utilizing IT security tools and methodologies.
Performs assessments of the IT security/risk posture within the IT network, systems and software applications.
Identifies opportunities to reduce risk and documents remediation options regarding acceptance or mitigation of risk scenarios. Facilitates and monitors performance of risk remediation tasks, changes related to risk mitigation & reports on findings.
Maintains oversight of IT and vendors regarding the security maintenance of their systems and applications.
Provides weekly project status reports, including outstanding issues. The IT Security/Risk Analyst assists in all IT audits, IT risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
Job experience and qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field required
2-4- years IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management
Cyber security related certifications preferred, such as CEH, OSCP, CISM, CISA
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
