    Boilermaker

    • As a Boilermaker, your role is to maintain acceptable efficiency standards of Plant and Machinery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Compliance with all EH & S guidelines and procedures
    • Maintenance & Repair: Perform essential repairs, installations and maintenance on Silos, Screw conveyors, Cement Bulk tankers and structural steel components
    • Fabrication: Fabricate, assemble and construct plant related equipment
    • Welding: Execute high-quality welds (MIG, TIG) on various metal types including aluminium and casting and mixed material to ensure equipment meets safety and durability standards.
    • Inspections: Conduct regular structural inspections on the whole plant to identify wear, corrosion, or potential failures before they impact production.

    Semi-Skilled Auto Electrician

    Purpose of the role:

    • To assist with the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of auto electrical systems on mobile crushing and screening equipment to ensure maximum plant availability, safe operation, and minimal downtime.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Auto Electrical Assistance:

    • Assist the Auto Electrician with electrical maintenance on mobile crushers, screens, and support equipment.

    Assist with fault finding on:

    • Wiring harnesses
    • Sensors and control systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Starter motors and alternators
    • Batteries and charging systems
    • Assist with installation and repairs of electrical components.
    • Support diagnostics using basic testing equipment.
    • Assist with cable routing, repairs, and component replacement.

    Plant & Equipment Support:

    • Assist with electrical inspections during scheduled maintenance.
    • Conduct pre-start electrical checks on equipment.
    • Report electrical faults and abnormal equipment behaviour.

    Purpose of the role:

    • The Semi-Skilled Mechanic supports maintenance activities while operating crushing and screening equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant production. The role combines mechanical assistance with operational responsibilities on mobile crushers, screens, and associated equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate mobile crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Conduct pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks.

    Junior Supervisor - Crushing & Screening

    Purpose of the role:

    • To supervise and coordinate daily mobile crushing and screening operations within a coal mining environment, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with mine standards and legal requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational Supervision
    • Supervise daily operations of mobile crushers and mobile screening plants
    • Coordinate plant start-up, shutdown, changeovers, and material flow
    • Monitor production rates, throughput, coal quality, and screen sizing
    • Ensure correct feeding of ROM coal and removal of oversize or contamination
    • Identify and report plant inefficiencies and breakdowns

    Experience

    • 1–3 years’ experience in coal mining, quarrying, or aggregates
    • Hands-on experience with:
    • Mobile jaw/cone/impact crushers
    • Mobile screening plants
    • Exposure to ROM coal handling and coal processing operations
    • Acting supervisor or team leader experience (Advantageous)

    Skills and Competencies:

    Diesel Mechanic - Mobile Crushers and Screens

    Purpose of the role:

    • As a Diesel Mechanic, your key responsibility will be the overall maintenance and repairs  Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment. The successful candidate should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.

    • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
    • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules

    Diesel Supervisor (Mining)

    Purpose of the role:

    • We are seeking an experienced Diesel Supervisor that will be responsible for the receiving and dispensing of large volumes of diesel.

    Responsibilities:
    Diesel Handling and Storage:

    • Oversee the entire diesel storage, handling, and stock management
    • Receive diesel supply trucks and ensure proper offloading into tanks
    • Take meter readings before and after offloading to calculate diesel received
    • Inspect seals on diesel tanks to ensure integrity
    • Collect samples to verify diesel quality and adhere to safety procedures

    Health and Safety:

    • Ensure safety protocols are followed
    • Conduct daily toolbox talks

    Cost Accountant

    • The Cost Accountant is responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting on all cost-related aspects of operations. This includes production costing, stock reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Costing & Financial Control

    • Prepare and maintain accurate product and operational costing models
    • Analyse cost variances and provide detailed explanations and recommendations
    • Monitor production costs, including labour, materials, and overheads
    • Ensure all costs are correctly allocated to cost centres and projects

    Stock & Inventory Management

    • Perform regular stock reconciliations (e.g. coal, raw materials, consumables)

    Billing & Revenue Support

    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, Syspro, etc.)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

    Security Manager

    • As a Security Manager, you will be responsible to oversee the safety and protection of various mining sites. Implement security protocols, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with law enforcement, and training staff on security procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining good relations internal, external and with 3rd party contractor employees
    • Ensuring the rendering of security service deliver in line with SOP’s
    • Ensuring compliance and that all security officers meet contractual requirements as stipulated by the organization
    • Identification and mitigation of risks
    • Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services
    • General management and supervision of security staff and operations, including rosters and posting of staff

    • Compile weekly, monthly and annual site incident reports
    • Control budget for security operations and monitor expenses

    Minimum requirements:

    • National diploma in security management will be an advantage
    • Grade 12
    • 5 years’ experience in a similar position in mining
    • SAPS/Military experience an advantage
    • Must be familiar with all legislation relating to the position
    • Have investigating experience
    • Firearm Police competency – Handgun/Shotgun
    • Firearm training Handgun & Shotgun Business Purpose
    • Familiar with MHSA and the control thereof
    • Working knowledge of MS Office

    GIS Geologist

    • The GIS Geologist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting spatial and geological data to support various geological projects.     • Proficiency in using GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, or similar tools for spatial data analysis and mapping
    • Proven experience in GIS and Remote Sensing data and software such as ENVI, or ERDAS IMAGINE, ideally in the mining sector
    • Proven experience in mineral exploration and natural resource management
    • Strong understanding of geological concepts, including stratigraphy, mineralogy, and geophysics
    • Ability to manage large datasets and ensure data integrity
    • Ability to produce high-quality maps and visualisations for diverse purposes
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret spatial and geological data
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings
    • Willingness to participate in fields data collection and sample analysis
