    Assistant Silo Manager (Arlington)

    Description

    • Senwes Grainlink is recruiting an Assistant Silo Manager who will primarily be responsible for handling and storing grain to ensure a quality product and achieve sustainable financial results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate intake, storage and dispatching of grain.
    • Grading of grain according to statutory requirements.
    • Ensure correct offloading and quality of grain.
    • Oversee the loading of grain and sample taking process.
    • Perform inspections to maintain adherence to statutory requirements.
    • Provide inputs in planning and allocating of storage capacity according to crop estimation information.
    • Pre-cleaning, drying, aeration and fumigation of grain.
    • Maintain a safe working environment.
    • Assist in identifying opportunities for value adding within grading criteria.

    HR Shared Services Administrator (Klerksdorp)

    Description

    • Senwes is seeking the services of a HR Shared Services Administrator to provide administrative support to HR functions, ensuring smooth operations in recruitment, onboarding, and record-keeping.

    Employee Records Management

    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, contracts, and performance evaluations.
    • Generate and distribute regular reports on HR metrics and analytics.
    • Manage and secure confidential employee information.

     Onboarding Facilitation

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the documentation of new hires and orientation.
    • Coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless integration of new employees.
    • Provide support and guidance to new employees during the initial phases of their employment.

     HR Inquiries

    • Act as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries from employees related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

     Administrative Tasks

     Document Control

    • Assist in the preparation, distribution, and filing of HR documentation.

    • Accurately maintain and update employee records ensuring all information is current and compliant on the SAGE system.
    • Ensure the accessibility and version control of HR documents for internal use.

    Payroll data processing

    • Ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time before close-off.
    • Process appointments for permanent and temporary employees.

     Control SAGE data entries

    • Control data entries on SAGE to maintain accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist with the day-to-day functions of the Shared Services Manager, including onboarding, when needed.

    Requirements

    • Experience and qualifications: Diploma in relevant field: 3 years relevant experience in SAGE 300 Payroll or National Senior Certificate: 5 years relevant experience (of which at least 3 years SAGE 300 Payroll experience).

    Receptionist (Agrinet) (Bellville)

    Description

    • Agrinet Bellville is seeking a dedicated individual who will be responsible for handling all incoming calls and managing our well-established and functional telephone system. The role also involves receiving visitors and overseeing personal administration and documentation duties with professionalism and efficiency

    Responsible to handle all incoming calls and functional telephone system:

    • Operate the switchboard daily, answering calls in a friendly and professional manner, ideally within 5 seconds, to ensure excellent customer service.
    • Screen incoming calls carefully, transferring only when appropriate to maintain efficiency and relevance.
    • Transfer calls to the correct internal contact, confirming their availability or redirecting to another team member who can assist if needed
    • Send a detailed email to the internal customer when taking a message, including all relevant information such as the caller’s name, contact details, reason for the call, and any actions required.

    Responsible to receive visitors to Agrinet:

    • Always confirm the nature and purpose of each visitor’s appointment upon arrival.
    • Promptly contact the relevant internal staff member to receive the visitor at reception.
    • Ensure that no external visitor enters the building without being accompanied by a designated staff member.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area always.

    Handling own administration and documentation:

    • Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate internal contact or assist external callers by providing the necessary information.
    • Manage and maintain the Car Wash schedule, ensuring smooth coordination.
    • Ensure daily availability of employee sign-in sheets and submit completed records to the Risk Manager at the end of each day.
    • Receive hand-delivered mail and courier parcels, ensuring the relevant recipient signs for them, or sign on their behalf after obtaining proper approval.
    • Send daily birthday emails to Agrinet employees to acknowledge and celebrate their special day.
    • Coordinate with the relevant line manager to arrange a temporary replacement when planning to take leave.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with grain handling by grading different commodities.
