Purpose of the job

• To manage relations and coordinate SITA engagements with Public Sector and Industry Stakeholders (Government and Public Entities) with a view to establishing and maintaining a well-coordinated system of Public Departments and Entities consisting of Government Departments,- National and Provincial Levels, SOCs, Municipalities, Public Entities, ICT Industry and related stakeholders to achieve sustainable development and service delivery, while building on sound relations with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop continual alignment to the SITA Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement Framework Strategy with the SITA Act of 88 of 1998
• Streamline SITA’s engagements in line with Government agenda as outlined in the SITA Act of 88 of 1998
• Establish and maintain good relations and support SITA’s delivery to identified stakeholders
• Implement stakeholder relations in accordance with engagement model for effective management of stakeholders
• Adherence to division’s budget and Alignment to KING V Code on Corporate Governance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/ Honours in Human Sciences or Public Administration.
• Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree /Honours in Marketing and/ or Communication/ Public Relations/ Public Administration/MBA.
• Experience: 8–9years working experience in Stakeholder Relations/Management or Intergovernmental Relations or Relationship Building with leadership, general management and operations responsibilities in large corporate/public sector organization.
• Experience with 4 years as Specialist in a Corporate/Public Sector environment.

Purpose of the job:

• The role will be responsible to execute complex application development, maintenance projects and services and provide innovative solutions and products that resolve challenges of government service delivery. The Advance Software Developer will be responsible for guiding and executing the design, development, and execution of complex services and projects of ICT solutions.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Lead the development of functional requirements that articulate clear and concise project deliverables that are compatible with user expectations.
• Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including choice of application architecture to enhance the overall application development process
• Lead and execute complex software development and customisation projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered.
• Lead and develop/ customise complex applications services solutions by studying information needs; consulting with clients, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 – 4-year National Higher Diploma / National Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6. A post graduate qualification OR bachelor’s degree in software engineering/ computer science. /Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 OR 8 Will be an added advantage. Vendor certification for applications will be an added advantage.
• Experience: 7-10 years’ experience with full JAVA software development lifecycle (SLDC), Jasper Reports. Experience of HTML CSS, JAVA Script, JQuery will be advantageous. WebSphere Portal, WebSphere MQ IBM Rational Businessm Developer, Rational Application Developer for z/OS, PL/SQL, Oracle 12, including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include Good solid programming Skills and understanding of the JAVA Basic language is required. Experience in Database and other technologies will be an advantage. Purpose of the job

• The role is responsible for the design, development, engineering and implementation of mainframe infrastructure architectures, processes and initiatives for large enterprise class mainframe servers, that fulfil legislative obligations and data protection requirements and ensure alignment with the Government and Corporate security acts, policies, and strategies. Also ensures a secure and stable environment for the user of Large Enterprise class servers.

Purpose of the job

• To lead the design, implementation, debugging, documentation, release and maintenance of software-based solutions, write code and enhance software/systems in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.
