    Business Development Manager

    Job Description:

    • Good Technology background. Candidate would have worked in an IT organization or in an IT run project.
    • Should be well versed or have a good grasp in Technologies such as .Net, IBM, JAVA
    • Candidates should Own and Perform deliveries at the Customer
    • Is able to understand the nuances of delivery and be well suited to engage to the customer at all times

    Key Responsibility Areas:

    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Oversee market expansion and growth in South Africa and other African regions
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Researching organizations and institutions to find new opportunities.

    • Conducting thorough market research on potential logos to be targeted.
    • Develop thorough understanding of the market and point out market trends
    • Be the cloud product specialist and work with a portfolio of IT solutions

    • Developing Business Plan goals and point out potential areas that require focus to ensure the solutions offered are in sync with market requirements

    Business Development Manager Requirements:

    • Must have atleast 10 years prior experience in business development, account management, technology sales, or any other sales / customer service exposure, and ideally from an IT sector background.
    • Should be a natural hunter, persistent and sales target driven with excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to partner positively with decision makers.
    • Strong sales experience in public sector and government organizations (Education, Skills sector)
    • Must have a solid understanding of technology, training will be given, but an interest and knowledge of IT and cloud solutions would be an advantage
    • Must have ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
    • Knowledge of the Education sector in South Africa is preferred.
    • Must have Excellent organizational skills and the ability flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
    • Must be willing to travel

    IT Business Relationship Manager - Banking & Finance

    Job Description:

    IT Business Development Manager - Insurance

    • Demonstrated experience driving accelerated growth of 20mm/year or greater
    • Proven track record of delivering business solutions and outcomes leveraging technology
    • Experience operating at CXO level, and ability to demonstrate excellent client relationships
    • With an empathetic approach, ability to respond to the needs of stakeholders
    • 8+ years technology experience involving entire SDLC lifecycle
    • 8+ years in solution-based sales – helping identify and drive solutions for clients
    • Advanced project delivery including all aspects of program/project management
    • Previous P&L responsibilities
    • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully across all levels of the organization
    • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Proven track record of client/employee satisfaction
    • Conduct and manage negotiations for new, add-on and existing services to ensure commercial viability and realistic expectation setting\
    • Develop and manage the overall account plan and forecast and provide monthly status reports
    • Meet operational requirements for pipeline and sales tracking and reporting
    • Provide strategic direction and drive business with client to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and continuing customer satisfaction
    • Maximize opportunities across all service lines, taking accountability for qualification and closure of all new business within the account
    • Develop and successfully take to market offerings tailored to the appropriate industry
