    Ux Design Lead: Web Consumer

    Role Purpose

    • As a User Experience (UX) Design Leader, you help define and drive the future of Vodacom’s design’s practice. You help identify experience opportunities and inspire teams to push boundaries beyond what is possible now. You possess a clear vision of the future of user experience for your team and have the courage to pursue and advocate for forward-thinking design.


    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Directly responsible for the experience quality and innovation of the solutions being formulated within the Web Channel Design team.
    • Articulates the problems to be solved, and directs the experience design team towards possible tools and methodologies in solving them.
    • Ensures that guardrails, standards and process governing the Design CoE are applied and executed within the team.
    • Represents the Design function in stakeholder interactions, removing all possible impediments for Designers in the team, including handling courageous conversations.
    • Maintains and ensures the integrity of the Vodacom Design Language, and ensures this is applied within the team.


    The Ideal Candidate Will Have

     

    • Matric
    • A relevant BA/BSc Degree (e.g. Computer Science, Psychology, User Centered Design (UCD) or advanced Design certification a must.
    • 7-10 years of experience in Digital Design broken up in the following way:
    • 5+ years experience in the craft and practice of UCD, designing workflows, interactions and user interfaces for interactive applications on different screens and devices, as well as immersion in user research and testing.
    • 2+ years proven track record of leading, guiding and or mentoring other Designers in delivering successful digital products.
    • Experience in UI Design execution advantageous.
    • Immersion and exposure to e-Commerce in the Telecommunication space, and an understanding of Telecomms specific nuances (e.g. Contract types, deals, etc.) advantageous.
    • Immersion and exposure to e-Commerce Design in other fields outside Telecomms (e.g. Retail, Consumer Electronics, etc.) highly advantageous.

    Finance Manager: Management Reporting and Analysis

    Role Purpose
    The Finance Manager: Management Reporting and Analysis role based within Finance business unit.
    Support the VSA finance team by driving the financial and operational performance reporting, Board reporting, support with results preparation by working closely with the IR team, support with COPS business collaborating and driving various analyses.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Drive the various monthly financial performance reporting requirements
    • Drive the reporting of monthly and quarterly operational performance scorecards
    • Support the Board & FRCC reporting process
    • Drive and manage the Budget/Forecast reporting packs
    • Support with the results preparation by working with the Investor relations team
    • Support the long range planning modelling for Vodacom South Africa
    • Support with various ad-hoc requirements and analysis


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Matric / Grade 12


    B Comm Accounting Or Equivalent Relevant Qualifications (Essential)

    • 5+ years of experience in Management Reporting and Analysis (at least 3 years in Telecom industry an advantage)
    • Strong with numbers
    • Ability to drive financial reporting independently
    • Fast learner, adaptable, and agile
    • Digital inclination
    • HFM experience an advantage

    Account Manager: Production, Mining & Utilities

    Role Purpose

    The Account Manager: Production, Mining & Utilities role is based within Enterprise Business Unit
    The role of the Account Manager: Production, Mining & Utilities is to secure new business from their allocated customer list, derived from a specific set of customers.
    The Account Manager will need to successfully manage their current base whilst selling additional products and services into these customers.
    The Account Manager will be required to minimise churn and maximise revenues with revenue growth being a keyperformance indicator. The objective is to increase the business from a targetlist of customers.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include
    Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

    • Responsible for managing specific accounts and delivering profitable, long term business from those accounts
    • Works collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts
    • Provide input to help with decisions about new propositions, product mix and services for customers


    Key Performance Indicators

    • Plan and develop relationships with allocated customers to identify opportunities and strategies to win new or further business from these customers
    • Effectively manage numerous internal and external deadlines in order to respond to large RFPs for single and multi-country deals
    • Ensure billing customer service centres are supporting the nominated accounts


    Core Competencies And Skills
    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Experience in solution sales and relationship management with a track record of solution selling
    • A broad understanding of the ICT Landscape and Strategic ICT enablers.
    • A thorough understanding of converged and networking technologies and services.
    • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers.

    • Unified Communications
    • Mobilising Business Process and M2M
    • Managed Services Management


    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • Matric


    Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience In Account Management

    • Working experience in production, mining and utilities will be an advantage

    • Matric
    • A 3 year commercial (B. Com/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification
    • 3 years’ experience in Account Management
    • Working experience in production, mining and utilities will be an advantage
