    Standards Officer (REF: IVP-FIN-)

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Ensure that all belt installation defects are reported to control room.
    • Manage and ensure that belt pre-start checks are done effectively, and no belts are operated with faulty safety devices.
    • The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships.

    • Conducting regular performance evaluations to assess the effectiveness and productivity of team members.
    • Ensure that conveyor belts are not operated with spillage.
    • Ensure that subordinates comply with lock-out procedures before conducting cleaning of
    • spillage or unblocking the chutes.
    • Ensure that fire suppression and extinguishing is available and inspected before belts are
    • operated.
    • Submit reports as required.

    • Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to protect workers and prevent accidents.
    • Ensuring that all maintenance and operational activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

    Junior Geoscience Data Analyst

    • The Junior Geoscience Data Analyst supports the day-to-day management, quality, and usability of geological data across multiple exploration and mining sites. Working under the guidance of the Senior Database Geologist, this role is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Ivanhoe Mines acQuire GIM Suite data management solution. The incumbent will assist with technical support, change management processes, and governance documentation to ensure robust and reliable geological data handling.

    Requirements:

    • BSc Honours: Geology, BSc. Geographic Information Systems (GIS, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field)
    • least 1-3 years of experience in an Exploration or Mining environment with exposure to database systems (acQuire or equivalent), GIS platforms and/or data reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
    • SACNASAtP registration preferred

    • Support administration of acQuire workspaces across Ivanhoe Mines’ exploration and mining sites to ensure data integrity, consistency and timely availability of geological data to all stakeholders

    Change Management & Configuration Support

    • Administer the internal change management platform for change requests.
    • Triage incoming change requests, communicate with requestors, apply approved changes, and assist in testing and validating updates before deployment

    Technical Support & Licensing

    • Provide inhouse and continuous technical support on acQuire to the Ivanhoe Mines geoscience teams.

    Data Governance & Documentation
