    Commercial Project Manager (Commercial / NEC / FIDIC / Contracts / Tenders / Claims Management / Engineering)

    Job Description:

    To take complete responsibility for commercial input into tenders and offers, as well as the execution of contracts in a project environment, including risk management, administration of contractual claims, project cash flow management and all commercial aspects of contracts. The successful incumbent will report directly in to the GM: Commercial.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Support during bidding phase – Provide input for drawing up a contracting philosophy. Draw up strategy and identify key issues for association with business partners (JVs, consortium, sub-contracting)
    • Commercial Execution – Ensure fulfilment of all commercial conditions laid down in the main contract with the customer as well as in related contracted with consortium partners, associated companies and other business partners. Co-ordinate all issues of financial project management.
    • Client Focus - Conduct customer negotiations and interfaces with customers during project execution in a manner that strengthens long term relationship in a spirit of partnership and mutual trust.
    • Inter Department Collaboration - Consciously build synergies with other departments and disciplines towards achievement of company’s goals.
    • Team work - Contribute to team efforts to create a culture of belongingness to company and ownership of the business goals by team members through transparency and openness

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • A Bachelor’s degree in commercial, accounting or financial management or equivalent
    • At least 8 years relevant experience in the international contracting business especially with regard to project  execution / contract administration and controlling
    • Proven track record in managing engineering projects preferably in the  field  of  petrochemical,  cement,  mining  or  materials  handling industry
    • Sound legal knowledge and extensive experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts
    • Track record of experience with Claims Management
    • Technical competencies required: Client communications, contract drafting, risk management, supplier contract management

    Strategic Marketing Analyst (Management systems / Sales / MS office)

    Job Description:

    This individual is a key analyst and insights contributor on the team. The role will involve working to identify important trends in consumer behavior, disseminate those trends, provide key insights, and translate findings into easily understood stories. This role will be responsible for creating a system to allow for repeatable insights by industry that are distributed on a mass scale to internal business counterparts for use in internal and external presentations and sales efforts. Working closely with management, you’ll be in charge of analysing new market segments and will work on developing the business strategy. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing relationships with internal stakeholders to understand what insights are most valuable to the business then build strategic plans to deliver on findings.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • New business development and revenue growth within Management Systems (MS)Certification (ISO9001/14001/22000/13485; OHSAS18001; FSSC; HACCP; BRC; IATF16949);
    • Commercial activities involving customer networking and meetings, sales closure;
    • Build and manage relationships within MS Certification industry;
    • Build and grow client database;
    • Analysing trends within the key market sectors identifying emerging opportunities and threats;
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders;
    • Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments;
    • Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed;
    • Build strong relationships through providing specialist know-how and leadership to others, expressing positive expectations;
    • Provide input into the risk identification processes development and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum;

    Requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification;
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry (MS Certification);
    • Appropriate business development  and sales experience;
    • Proficient in MS Office packages;
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and enterprising skills are required and ability to build strong, trust-based client relationships;
    • Highly motivated, proactive team player;
    • Strong technical analytical skills with the ability to analyse and integrate various data sources with market and industry knowledge;
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; and
    • General understanding of Market Research.
