Duties and Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control and order stock
- Apply correct stock control measures in-store and in back-up where Clover stock is handled
- Control, minimise and write up returns according to store work plan
- Avoid out of stock situations at all times and report to AM if it occurs
- Place accurate and timeous order according to the ordering tempo
- Ensure clean and neat products on shelf at all times
- Ensure proper crate and equipment control at the store according to company policy
- Establish and maintain good business relationship with store management, AM, HO, Customers and fellow Merchandisers at all times
Apply correct shelve control in terms of indicated store and shelve plans
- Pack shelves in terms of the Store Flow as indicated by the AM and applying basic merchandising rules
- Ensure that the fridge is properly maintained at all times
- Maintain indicated shelf set in terms of the provided plannos or generic shelf set
- Maintain PI label per product at all times
- Put point of sale material up at allocated position and maintain at all times
- Maintain relevant administration
- Exploit all opportunities in store to enhance the presence of products on shelf
Establish and maintain good business relationships
- Manage relationships with store management, AM, HO, Customers and fellow merchandisers at all times

Duties and Responsibilities
Execute Occupational and Primary Health
- Conduct medical examinations (pre-employment, pre-placement, exit and annual medicals)
- Treat injuries on duty, incidents on site (permanents, contractors and contract labour)
- Conduct regular Occupational Health surveys with medical practitioner
- Assist in doing health risk assessments
- Dispense medicine according to legislation
- Liaise with medical specialists, doctors, hospitals and management
- Provide and maintain an annual programme for annual medical surveillance
Manage Administration
- Update and maintain all permanent employee files (personal files and clynsis)
- Update and maintain IOD documentation and register
- Issue monthly report on relevant statistics
- Order and maintain medical stock levels
- Update and maintain clinic procedures on Entropy
- Check First Aid boxes monthly
- Attend monthly SHE meetings
- Arrange for annual calibration & service for relevant equipment
- Attend First Aider meetings and assist with process on training
Manage Health and Safety
- Promote Health and Safety consciousness on company premises by holding training and awareness sessions
- Carry out regular health and safety inspections in the plant
Manage Wellness
- Arrange and drive health awareness days - heart, anti tobacco, breast cancer awareness days/month etc.
- Arrange for financial wellbeing training/counselling
- Monitor and manage chronic diseases
