    Global Internship Marketing Professional

    The Role

    Would you like to be a part of our Marketing team in the South African customer center? Then this is the right program for you. You will get insight into the daily working of an Atlas Copco customer center and help to identify new areas for future growth. Supported by your mentor and your colleagues, you will take responsibilities in various projects and you are likely to manage projects yourself as well. Your main tasks will be connected to market analysis and mapping of industry trends and how we best respond to these. Converting this to tangible plans and concrete actions will make you an important asset to the team. You will have the opportunity to take an exciting insight into a Marketing Professionals life and gain work experience locally. This will help you to create a world-class Master thesis in a global environment

      What we expect of you?

    1. You have just completed your studies at a South African university. 
    2. Your studies are engineering focused, ideally within the field of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Product Marketing
    3. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    4. You have a strategic thinking and a sense for expressing complex contexts simplified
    5. You have excellent social skills and love working in a diverse team
    6. You have accommodation in the Johannesburg region, to be able to work in our head office in Jet Park, Boksburg

    IT Team Leader Africa - Jet Park

    The Role

    1. Translation of the Atlas Copco IT Services strategic direction into organizational planning, management and strong leadership.
    2. Lead and develop the local IT Service team in order to increase customer satisfaction and ensuring that the local team members build up a strong partner relationship and are adding value to the business.
    3. Manage the local IT Customer relationship to identify, investigate and recommend changes in the delivery of services, aimed at reducing cost and improving the quality of service provision to the business.
    4. Hold regular and formal business review meetings with Customer Centers.
    5. Be the Single Point of Contact of the business regarding all IT topics.
    6. Find workaround solutions when necessary in order to guarantee that the Atlas Copco business is running smoothly.
    7. Produce activity reports, weekly and/or monthly reports and business ad hoc reports as required and to set time-frames where applicable.
    8. Management of all events and escalations against SLA and/or KPI commitments.
    9. Main local service desk escalation point for the customer and internal support functions.
    10. Ensure close working relationship with other service teams from the IT Services EMEA organization
    11. Manage our external partners in order that incidents, requests and escalations are resolved in a timely and effective manner with the aim of highest customer satisfaction.
    12. Coordinate and align local projects with local business needs.
    13. Strong governance of the local IT Purchasing and Financial control (Financial Management).
    14. Effectively Manage local/regional suppliers (Vendor Management

     
     What we expect of you?

    1. 10+ years of experience in IT with customer facing role, with minimum of last 5 years in coordination role
    2. Project Management experience, Project Management certification is a benefit.
    3. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent through several years of experience in IT Service Delivery
    4. Certification within ITIL (Foundation) is a benefit
    5. Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must. Other languages are an asset
