• Planning, control and management of operations and maintenance activity
• Ensure effective execution of operations and maintenance activities
• Ensure maximum task quality and efficiency, and overall effective use of equipment and conformance to FOOT (Full Order On Time)
• During emergency situations, evaluate the abnormalities and take corrective action as to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or SHERQ incidents
• Ensure own team adhere to operational and maintenance procedures and for people and plant
• Ensure maintenance planning is scheduled optimally to maximise production output and adherence to production plan. Relationships, teamwork and collaboration
• Understands customer requirement and ensures product/service meets customer requirements
• Ensure smooth transition of work from own shift to next shift. Shift handover procedure adherence
• Effective interaction with supporting activities e.g. P&SM, technical, engineering
• Give input into how to improve overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the plant
• Continuously applies new ideas/work methods to improve results
• Deals with human resistance to change in own area
• Provide information/assist with projects with technical/support functions
• Avail staff for training and development required due to the change initiative
• Must be a be a team player and be able to handle conflict.
• Problem solving skills, report writing and communication skills

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license Code EB/08
• Forklift / Tractor License (Advantage)

   Qualifications:

• Grade 12/N3 with Math’s, Science, English (Must)
• NQF 4 Occupational Trade Qualification (Must)
• Hazarded identification Training (advantage)
• First aid Training (advantage)
• Permit to work (advantage)

    Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supervision
• Minimum 10 years Production Experience
• Experience in Explosives or Ammonium Nitrate related operations could be advantageous
• Packaging line Experience (Advantage)
• SAP (Advantage)
• MS Office 365
• Must be willing to work Shifts and overtime when needed

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES - Include but not limited to:

• Facilitate opportunities to maximise the impact of MTi and Enaex products
• Unlock synergies in the region from knowledge sharing to identify low hanging fruit for early profitable business growth
• Provide Sales and Technical support for the MTi product line and assist in the development of region relevant marketing tools
• Look for opportunities to growth the product portfolio starting with Enaex sites. Communicate new product ideas/improvements with Australian Product Dev Team
• Engage and lead customer-facing activities driving sales to include customer presentations, sales and necessary support of key accounts.
• Provide technical, application & sales support, to both Enaex site teams and customers including providing product knowledge for customers at client sites
• Gain a strong understanding of the customer's requirements and application needs on a technical level so as to ensure the most suitable solution is being proposed
• Resolve customer technical issues to high customer satisfaction
• Identify likely areas of emerging MTi products and propose application solutions to product management
• Develop case studies for technical presentations at industry events or for marketing purposes to solicit similar business
• Build and foster strong customer and supplier relationships
• Record and communicate customers pain points as well as maintaining the customer data in CRM that MTi and Enaex rely on for decision making
• Comply with WHS/OHS responsibilities as defined by Enaex and MTi Group WHS/OHS Responsibility Matrix in the Safety Management Plan

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in sales to mining customers with an understanding of open pit and underground mining
• Strong technical background, with developed knowledge of products and markets within the mining industry
• Highly developed communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to write technical reports in English
• Experience Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Motivated and committed to excellent customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong initiative with the ability to work autonomously. Must be and experienced traveller prepared to work out in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Diploma (3 Years) with (Mathematics and Engineering Science)
• 3 to 5 years related experience Opencast/Underground Blasting Certificate Current driving licence

ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To operate production lines of Expanfo products and assist with monitoring and control of the operation by means of processes, controls, electrical and electronic information, and mechanical technology. To control, monitor and operate the plant ensuring that in-specification product is produced, bagged, and dispatched.

Provide supports the mining services team objectives and business imperatives by providing efficient coaching and advice to the customers on the application of ENAEX explosives products while enhancing the customer/supplier relationship.
