    Planning Officer - Witbank

    Job Summary 

    The incumbent in this role will be responsible for producing production and saleable schedules and conducting short- and medium-term planning for the Dragline, Truck, Shovel, Drill and Blast as well as water management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generating production reports.
    • Producing short term plans and facilitating the execution of such plans.
    • Liaising with the operations team to deliver on mine planning operational needs.
    • Mine Planning (Short Term to Medium Term).
    • Mine Scheduling.
    • Conducting reconciliation between planned and mined areas.
    • Facilitating and conducting the pre-mining risk assessment process

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant Degree.
    • Driver’s license (Code EB/08).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Completed Graduate Development Programme or equivalent.
    • Experience in a production environment.
    • Experience in scheduling will be advantageous.

    Administrator - Logistics

    The incumbent in this role is responsible for to capture data on train movements and liaise with corporate office, customers, third party sales, Transnet and all GOSA Operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Capturing data of all inland & export rail sales for debtors and the finance department.
    • Capturing actual road sales tons as well as receiving/capturing external road deliveries.
    • Processing rail intents and distributing train schedule.
    • Processing third party sales and trains on SAP.
    • Processing of various report required.
    • Performing Reservations from stores.
    • Performing general office administration.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Grade 12.
    • Studying towards a relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Driver’s license Code EB (08).

    Minimum Experience

    • MS Office Proficiency.
    • Knowledge of Transnet documentation and basic Stock and material keeping will be advantageous.
    • SAP experience will be advantageous.
    • Transnet experience will be advantageous.

    Fixed - Term Instrument Technician - Witbank

    The incumbent in this role will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation equipment are continuously maintained and in a proper working order.

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Fault Finding and Programming on all Modular Dispatch Hardware.
    • Managing and maintaining the CATS Server and Database, PDS and Access Control.
    • Programming of two-way Radios and Database Admin.
    • Maintaining and adhering to HSEC requirements.
    • Problem solving, troubleshooting techniques and fault finding.

    About you:

    To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • N6 Certificate (instrumentation major subjects) with an Instrumentation Trade Certificate OR National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (instrumentation major subjects).
    • Tech Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation major subjects) will be advantageous.
    • Driver’s license (Code EB/08).

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3 Years’ experience as an Instrument Technician.
    • CompTIA Network knowledge.
    • Industrial and wireless network experience
    • Motorola Radio Network.
    • Fleet Management Systems – Modular & PDS.
