    We have an exciting opportunity for a Market Access Manager. The successful incumbent will be part of our Commercial Division and will report into our Commercial Director.  
    The incumbent will be responsible for the definition, development, co-ordination and execution of strategic Market Access led projects and programmes within the organisation.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Co-ordinate the beyond Compliance plan for new product launches across Franchises
    • Accountability for execution of reimbursement plans where necessary
    • Build or adapt and tailor global payer value propositions for the local markets and healthcare systems
    • Proactively monitor the reimbursement and policy landscape for opportunities and threats to coverage of S&N products and solutions
    • Define evidence requirements for successful market access and liaise with Clinical and Evidence teams in the cluster to ensure these are represented in the evidence plans.
    • Identify the need for relevant sales tools e.g. budget impact models, value dossiers, business cases, to support product/solution adoption and brief this into MA or identify solutions to develop these tools
    • Work with marketing and sales training team to train the commercial teams in effective use of the tools.
    • Responsibility for identifying opportunities that will benefit our business as well as proactively identifying potential risks that need mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor the external digital landscape in relation to market access strategies.
    • Monitor and employ mitigating strategies for the changing Funder Landscape

    Requirements

    • Matric
    • Clinical, Scientific or Medical Qualification
    • Additional Health Economics qualification is preferable
    • Experience in successful Product Approval submissions with Funders for Reimbursement including HTA/Budget Impact models
    • Established relationships with key private stake holders pertaining to Product Approval submissions
    • Medical Device experience

    Summary
    An opening has arisen for a Sales Representative within our Wound Management Division. The incumbent is responsible for the successful launch, promotion and sales of his/her specific product range to Orthopaedic Surgeons, PNPs, Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons,

    Gynaecologists, Dermatologist, Urologists and Cardio Thoracic Surgeons. The continuing education in the correct application and usage of these products in the sales territory allocated to the incumbent is paramount. The incumbent reports to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for his/her allocated territory.
    Key Performance areas:

    • To attain and exceed targeted sales.
    • To develop and maintain a regular calling pattern and to report accordingly.
    • To ensure that all customers are fully cognisant of the product range.
    • To attend theatre cases to give technical advice.
    • To monitor competitor activity.

    Key Functions:
    Is responsible for attaining and exceeding targeted sales for the products to be sold in her/her area. These products will be promoted and sold to the following outlet types:

    1. Private hospitals and clinics
    2. Private Nurse Practioners
    3. Wound Clinics

    Develops a routine calling pattern for all customers within own area as follows:

    1. Theatre operating days
    2. Appointments in rooms
    3. An appointment diary is maintained and continuously updated

    A quarterly business plan to ensure coverage of territory is submitted to the Regional Sales Manager and broadly outlines an overall plan to ensure total coverage of all outlets in the forthcoming quarter, with an emphasis on objectives set out by Marketing at the beginning of each quarter.
    Is responsible for ensuring that all key customers are fully cognisant of the product range, product users and correct product application:

    1. Calling and detailing in a one-on-one environment
    2. In-service training sessions
    3. Use of audio-visual training aids, promotional literature and journal

    reports.

    • Practical demonstrations.
    • Setting up workshops for the training of staff.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Education:

    • Matric Qualification
    • Degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences

    Experience:

    • Previous Sales Experience in Medical DevicesCompetencies Required
    • Good communication skills in the required language, mature personality to enable him/her to deal with medical professionals on an acceptable basis
    • Uses links in network to send information
    • Uses every available opportunity to maintain contact with customers
    • Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge in own specified area
    • Translates theory into practical application
