    Human Capital Consultant

    Job Description

    • Develop and execute a resource plan to meet the needs within area of responsibility.
    • Ensure recruitment of required resources on-time within area of responsibility.
    • Implement effective talent and succession management within area of responsibility.
    • Enable and support line managers with effective discipline and employee relations processes to implement and manage performance management processes within area of responsibility.
    • Ensure HC reporting is effective and accurate within area of responsibility.
    • Ensure sound employee relations through engagement with line management, employees and shop stewards.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Engineer: Drawing and Design

    Job Description

    • Technology Development: Lead the development of new technologies and engineering solutions tailored for the mining industry, while staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing of new technologies to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance, and collaborate with testing teams to validate and refine prototypes for optimal results.
    • Project Management: Manage projects related to technology developments, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones effectively.
    • Plant Design and Equipment Implementation: Design and implement equipment that complements the company's reagents, adding value to customer operations, and manage the creation and optimisation of reagent plants and explosives plant design.
    • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners, to support technology development efforts, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Technology Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing mining services operations, and work closely with operational teams to implement and optimise technology solutions.
    • Quality Assurance and Standards Compliance: Establish and maintain quality standards for new technologies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with new technology developments, and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technology development processes and outcomes, and provide regular reports on the progress of technology development projects.
    • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to operational teams on the use and maintenance of new technologies, and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure effective implementation and ongoing support.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Higher certificate or Post-secondary certificate,
    • Diploma or Degree in Project Design,
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Structural Design and Drawing/Mechanical Drawing and Design/Civil Design and Drawing.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of AECI Mining Chemicals’ products, equipment and services.
    • Understanding of both extreme and standard mining conditions.
    • Working knowledge in using the SAP system.
    • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) and the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA),
    • In-depth knowledge of the mining chemicals industry and associated products.

    • Fill raw materials in the bins on the carousel.
    • Keep carousel area clean.
    • Ensure that the right amount of raw material have been added 
    • Visual inspection of all the raw materials.

    • Acknowledgement and processing of sales orders on the day they are received.
    • Checking customer backlog reports on a weekly basis and planning deliveries when stock becomes available.
    • Capture customer forecasts into the system.
    • Creating Pro-Forma invoices for COD customers.
    • Capturing contract pricing into the system.
    • Handling daily queries in a Professional, prompt, effective and efficient manner.
    • Liaising with Managers, KAMS, and warehouse and production staff.
    • Managing bulk deliveries, this includes placing the order, organising transport, updating the bulk register, informing production of the orders, obtaining weighbridge weights and invoicing.
    • Controlling and monitoring Consignment Stock, this includes processing of orders, conducting stock counts and invoicing.
    • Manage sample requests.
    • Managing customers transport requirements. 
    • Processing debits and credits into Syspro
    • Assisting with stock movements between warehouses.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric / grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Must be computer literate in MS Office.
    • Experience in SAP beneficial. 
    • Experience on Syspro, Q-Bit and Q-docs is essential.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role.
    • Strong planning and administration skills
    • Must be able to work in a highly pressurized environment and without constant supervision.
