    Telematics Engineer

    Key Purpose

    • To build on our current telematics reporting platform and enhance the features running with technical projects from end to end including design and implementation of the solutions. You will also be required to analyse large amounts of data to find key business value and insights.

    Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to

    • Develop and manage BI dashboards and reports to monitor our telematics systems’ performance and operational metrics.
    • Extract, analyse, and interpret complex engineering, software development, and operational data to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with software developers and DevOps teams to develop and optimize data pipelines and automated reporting.
    • Ensure data security, integrity, accuracy, and accessibility for cross-functional teams.
    • Run with technical telematics projects from end to end
    • Work in a team environment
    • Communicate effectively and manage technical telematics supplier teams
    • Perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning systems

    • Strong technical project management skills with experience leading data-driven projects.
    • Understanding of software engineering principles and best coding practices.
    • Proficiency in QuickSight (AWS), Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python (Pandas, Numpy), or similar data analytics tools.
    • Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
    • Hands-on experience with ETL processes, database management, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
    • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including CI/CD integration.
    • Experience with version control systems (Git) and automated deployment strategies.
    • Familiarity with Unix/Linux - Advantageous

    Life Claims Assessor Specialist

    Key Purpose

    • To ensure that the claims service strategy prevails in that adherence of the assessment of claims decisions are proved to the relevant stakeholders, in keeping with the business rules, set criteria and service level agreement discipline.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Effective independent assessment of complex claims within high authority limit and skill level to ensure accuracy of decision-making identifying material non-disclosure, misrepresentation or fraud.
    • Demonstrate proficient service through formal communication to ensure adherence to communication standards. Building relationships with brokers and franchises, engages with top Premium platinum and Gold Prestige financial advisors to ensure successful execution of claims deliverables.
    • Adherence to service level agreement discipline to ensure service standard.
    • Attain a quality assurance of above 85% to ensure effective claims decision making and communication output.
    • Coach and conduct training for junior or new assessing staff to ensure skills transfer and accurate decision making.
    • Presents individual claims on disputes, declines, voids and reconstructs to various committees including medical, legal, underwriting, actuarial and compliance for verification.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Essential:

    Advantageous:

    • 2-5 years underwriting experience in a long terms insurance industry
    • Risk management knowledge with experience of Individual Life claims assessment of all benefits.
    • Medical knowledge in terms of terminology and interpretation of medical reports.

    Training And Events Coordinator

    Job Purpose

    Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the admin related to TED team and provide support to the Events coordinator and Logistics team.

    Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:

    • Oversee the training reception desk, address trainer related queries and deliver front-of house service to delegates and hosts attending sessions or events.
    • Manage the TED admin workpool, ensuring adherence to established SLA’s while handling all queries in the departmental mailbox.
    • Administrative and logistical support provided to both the team and clients when required.
    • Management collaboration to research ways to enhance operational efficiencies for the work environment.
    • Ad-hoc assistance with event co-ordination and logistical when required.

    • Maintain and update asset registers, utilisation stats and other departmental related stats.
