    Supervisor Outbound

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • The successful incumbent is responsible for overseeing warehouse capacity, stock integrity, stock movements (inbound & outbound) and daily planning.
    • He/she is also responsible for actively communicating with 3PLs, and co-ordinating transport planning and expediting to ensure that daily operational targets are driven and met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform weekly/monthly stock counts/cycle counts;
    • Carry out daily / weekly planning of outbound load and adherence to shipping plan
    • Ensure daily adherence to 3PLs offloading time slots
    • Minimise stock damages
    • Daily/weekly reports on warehouse capacity

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum requirement is an applicable tertiary qualification.
    • At least 3-year’s experience in the FMCG/Operations & Planning environment
    • Strong understanding of SAPWM system
    • Ability to effectively manage & organize multiple/conflicting priorities in a fast changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
    • Excellent planning and co-ordinating skills.
    • Medically fit and willing to work in cold and stressful environment

    Engineering Maintenance Manager

    Purpose of the Job:

    • As the Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will ensure a high level of plant availability, driving reliability through structured maintenance practices.
    • You will oversee condition inspections, lubrication routes, and ensure effective implementation of global maintenance initiatives.
    • Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCAs), compiling asset life matrices, and leading continuous improvement efforts within the plant.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Safety:

    • Ensure OHSACT compliance regarding machinery safety, boiler inspections, and refrigeration systems.
    • Actively contribute to creating a safety-focused culture within the plant.
    • Manage employee safety to achieve zero recordable injuries.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including permits to work, PPE usage, and contractor safety.

    Cost Management:

    • Develop and manage the departmental maintenance budget, monitoring monthly expenditure.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the department.
    • Oversee internal projects, manage small capital expenditures, and forecast future costs.
    • Manage department overtime effectively.

    People Management:

    • Lead and manage a diverse team through performance evaluations, KPI tracking, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
    • Handle employee relations challenges with the support of the HR manager.
    • Drive participation in employee engagement surveys and maintain a positive work environment.

    Plant Delivery:

    • Oversee maintenance schedules and asset reliability programs to ensure optimal plant availability.
    • Collaborate closely with Production to schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve line performance and asset lifecycle management.

    Food Safety & Quality:

    • Ensure maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    • Participate actively in plant audits as part of the Food Safety Council.

    Environmental Management:

    • Work with Environmental and Production managers to meet plant sustainability targets, including CO2, water, electricity, and coal usage.
    • Ensure environmental compliance regarding boiler emissions and hazardous material management.

    Job Holder Requirements:

    • BTech/BEng Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Government Competency Certificate (Factories).
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an FMCG factory.
    • Sound knowledge of OHS Act and safety regulations.
    • Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP) and associated transactions.
    • Strong skills in cost control, budget management, and financial analytics.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
    • Experience in preventive maintenance systems, root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.
    • Appointee as GMR 2.1 and a solid understanding of relevant safety regulations.
