    Parts Sales Executive (Hyundai Harbour View)

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy.
    • To correctly place such items in stores.
    • To ensure accurate identification of customer's needs by means of parts catalogue, computer stock lists.
    • To receive and identify stock.
    • To check goods from suppliers.
    • Implementation of discount structure as applicable.

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    OBJECTIVES AND KEY TASKS

    Improved Profitability:-

     

    • To ensure that all required parts for any particular repair or service and additional accessories are offered to customers.
    • To ensure stock is kept safe and in first class condition.
    • Ensure that a receipt, payment or authorised signature is received for all issues.

    Customer Service and Satisfaction:-

    • To ensure that all customers are shown the utmost courtesy and consideration.
    • To ensure that all issues are in first class condition and suitable for use for which purchased.

    Cost Control:-

    • To ensure stock is kept in good condition .
    • To ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge.
    • To guard against unauthorised withdrawal from stock.
    • To maintain stock control system.
    • To care for stock control, plant and record systems.

    MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

     

    • Staff:- To assist all company staff in parts identification and, if required, replacements.
    • To assist in training new parts persons.

    Administration:-

    • To ensure all paperwork, documentation, requisitions are properly recorded within stock control system.
    • To ensure that all credit sales are made to an authorised signatory or approved account.
    • To keep all parts catalogues, manufacturers lists, etc. updated and tidy.

    Communications:-

     

    • To ensure Parts Manager is kept aware of stock movement.
    • To notify Parts Manager of any difference noted when inspecting incoming goods.
    • To maintain good helpful relationships with all customers and their representatives.

    Marketing:-

    • To assist if required in any marketing activity as required.

    Finance:-

    • To ensure all transactions take place according to company policy.
    • To ensure security of all cash and cheques received.
    • To be numerate and literate at the clerical level required.
    • To understand basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts.
    • To be able to identify parts.
    • To have received training in standard stock-keeping system used.
    • To use stock control and location equipment.
    • To be capable of courteous service to customers.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 2-3 years experience as a Parts Salesperson

    Driver (Hyundai Bloemfontein)

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • ASSIST SERVICE ADVISORS AND RECEPTIONISTS WHEN CALLED UPON IN PROVIDING TRANSPORT FOR CUSTOMERS. 
    • ASSIST END CONTROLLER IN HIS DUTIES INCLUDING THE MOVING OF CARS IN AND OUT OF INSPECTION AREA, AS AND WHEN REQUIRED. 
    • MOVE CARS IN AND OUT OF WASH BAYS AS REQUIRED. 
    • RECOVER BROKEN DOWN VEHICLES WITH THE CARSHOP LDV AND/OR MOBIJACK AS DIRECTED BY FOREMAN. 
    • RECORD CORRECT KILOMETERS COVERED BY VEHICLE ON EVERY TRIP IN THE LOG BOOK PROVIDED. 
    • REPORT ANY FAULTS FOUND ON BREAKDOWN VEHICLE OR MOBI 
    • JACK TO FOREMAN.
    • ENSURE THAT VEHICLES ARE DRIVEN SAFELY AND IN A COURTEOUS MANNER. 
    • REPORT ANY ACCIDENTS TO WORKSHOP FOREMAN. 
    • CARRY OUT ADDITIONAL REASONABLE DUTIES FROM TIME TO TIME AND AT THE DISCTRETION OF MANAGEMENT. 
    • ASSIST WASHBAY TO CLEAN CUSTOMER AND BREAKDOWN VEHICLES. 
    • REPORT TO RECEPTION WHEN SENT OUT.

    Qualifications and Experience

    •  12 years experience as a Driver in the Corporate sector A valid Driver License (Code 08)

    Commercial Sales Executive (Hyundai Boksburg)

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Conducting research and prospecting
    • Identifying new business opportunities
    • Concluding sales contracts
    • Developing working relationships with others and building a relationship with trucks body builders
    • To ensure that the trucks body builders are OEM approved
    • Performing administrative duties

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Must be currently employed as a Commercial Sales Executive and at least 2 years or more
    • A successful sales track record, with networking and cold calling as an integral part of the process
    • The ideal candidate would someone with excellent networking and negotiating skills (able to go out and source new business)
    • Existing data base (advantageous)
    • Valid SA driver’s license Code 10 and up is essential 

    Qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12 or Equivalent
    • Tertiary qualification in line with position (advantageous)

    Warranty Clerk (Hyundai Brackenfell)

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • Validate all vehicle data on documentation before input .
    •  Review job cards before costing for car shop, paint and panel
    • Ensure correct damage codes on all claims
    • Attend to and expediently finalise all claim queries
    • Ensure parts claim store is secure at all times
    • Ensure parts claim store is clean and tidy
    • Ensure all warranty parts are correctly tagged
    • Ensure all prescribed parts are sent to the supplier within specified times
    • Process all paint shop claims
    • Liaise closely with HASA warranty claims department to ensure continuity in claim processing
    • Ensure ordered warranty parts are placed on back order listing
    • Ensure continued follow-up with outstanding warranty back order parts and customers
    • Ensure customers return for back-order warranty repairs
    • Check vehicle history and any previous warranty work
    • Ensure the vehicle is within the warranty parameter period
    • Ensure correct mileage recorded on the job card
    • Ensure all vehicles have been inspected and diagnosed by the Workshop
    • Ensure warranty part availability
    • Ensure correct part and part number is recorded on the warranty claim form
    • Ensure required authorisation is obtained before commencing with the repairs - DP or Service Manager to authorise while waiting for final HASA authorisation
    • Ensure that the warranty policy is adhered to at all times
    • Reconciliation of all warranty job cards, invoices and warranty claim forms to a warranty register
    • Ensure all warranty claim forms and invoices are submitted to HASA within 7 (seven) days of completion of repair
    • Follow up with HASA that invoices have been received
    • Ensure that job cards are costed and invoiced immediately the repairs are completed
    • Failed parts to be destroyed as per the conditions laid out in the warranty policy and procedures, unless otherwise instructed by HASAWhen requested, parts required for inspection are to be sent to HASA
    • Ensure that all warranty job cards and invoices are signed by the customer
    • Warranty filing is to be maintained by chassis number
    • Manual report of warranty parts over 30 days to be kept for incentive purposes
    • Reasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time

    • Repair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications
    • Establish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered
    • Report to Foreman / Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required
    • Obtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work
    • Obtain technical information from Foreman / Master Technician on problem jobs
    • Adhere to Motus workshop policies and procedures
    • Ensure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk
    • Ensure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card
    • Ensure that worked hours are clocked correctly
    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean
    • Do not leave keys in an unattended vehicle
    • Ensure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy
    • Report any faulty / broken equipment to the Foreman / Workshop Manager
    • Ensure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications
    • Ensure that hand tools set conforms to Motus standard
    • Accept responsibility for apprentice and impart as much technical knowledge to him as possible through explanation, practice and the monitoring of work, including rectifying faults
    • Reasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Qualified petrol/diesel Technician.
