    Irrigation Designer

    Job description

    • Design pragmatic solutions whilst taking into consideration the cost, life cycle, manufacturing and customer requirements of design
    • Keep the Branch Manager abreast of any new leads or design requests
    • Gather information for then design from the Sales Representative and or Customer
    • Conduct site inspections in order to support design information where required
    • Complete design and submit to the client within specified time frames and ensure Accurate Technical Documentation
    • Provide Technical Product Support to Branch Staff and Customers
    • Provide in-house Training for Branch Staff and Customers on Irrigation and Fluid
    • Handling products when neededProvide a weekly report to the Fluid and Irrigation Account Manager and Product Manager
    • Responsible for all Technical Administration and recordkeeping (including legal compliance)
    • Meet with Developers / Architect / Civil Engineers / Land Scape Architects for promoting design office and client relations

    Minimum requirements

    • National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
    • LIA or SABI accredited qualification will be preferred
    • 5 -8 years’ working experience
    • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCad and or Irricad
    • Knowledge of Hunter, Rainbird, Torro, Orbit, Krain, Weathermatic Irrigation product and Fluid handling products.
    • An astute attention to detail

    • Experience with borehole pumps and centrifugal pumps and pump curves

    • Handling all direct complaints and following up to ensure all complaints are resolved

    Warehouse Assistant

    Job description

     

    • Checking Stock, assisting with the checking of Stock before stock leaves premises – match on WMS
    • Assist with the counting of stock daily -WMS
    • Pick stock according to WMS
    • Packing stock in the correct store area as per Warehouse Layout, stock codes and descriptions, and shelf as per WMS Instructions.
    • General housekeeping and cleaning
    • Ensure that no substandard stock is supplied to customers
    • Comply to Safety regulations at all times

    Job description

     

    • Adhering to a route list ensuring regular calling and merchandising on existing customers
    • Upholding the merchandising standards set by the company. regarding safety, category management, maximum product exposure
    • To secure and maintain shelf space (market share) as well as the negotiation of additional secondary space either on a shelf or in a display

    Machine Operator

    Job description

    • Remove moulded parts from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications
    • Pack Moulded parts into relevant packaging
    • Move controls to set cutting specifications, to position cutting tools and workpieces in relation to each other, and to start machines
    • Trimming of Injection moulded parts
    • Housekeeping around working area
    • Report any quality defects to the Shift Supervisor
    • Report any problems on machines to the Shift Supervisor
    • Ensure hopper is full at machine
    • From time to time do as request from Supervisor
    • Safe operation of Injection moulding Machine
    • Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained
    • Complete completion of production score sheet
    • Ad hoc functions within the ambit of the job function

    Minimum requirements

    • National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
    • Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role
