    Retail Finance Manager I – Store Operations

    Introduction

    • We are looking to recruit a Retail Finance Manager I to work within the Group Retail Finance department of Clicks Retailers. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Retail Finance Manager III.

    Job description

    • To ensure budgeted profit targets are met by planning, directing and coordinating financial support to the store operations team, with particular focus on improving operational efficiencies in the cost base and improving store profitability.

    JOB OBJECTIVES

    • To ensure store budgets are aligned with business objectives;
    • To ensure that store profit budgets are met through continuous engagement with store operations highlighting risks and opportunities to the divisions and stores and assisting with implementing corrective action;
    • To review store financial performance indicators to highlight exceptions that affect profit delivery and suggesting and implementing recommendations;
    • To drive the forecasting process to ensure detailed forecasts align with high level forecasts;
    • To ensure cost saving opportunities are identified, defined and delivered upon;
    • To perform pieces of analysis on any aspect of the income statement which will positively influence the performance of the divisions;
    • To oversee the processing and review of month end journals;
    • To oversee and manage the execution of month end reports to business partners and stakeholders;
    • To manage the end to end stores quarterly incentive payout process;
    • To identify and manage business risk through monthly balance sheet recon performance and review;
    • Manage new store budgets and allocations as part of the 3YEAR sales build, quarterly allocations and risk tracking;.Prepare weekly store performance updates.

    Minimum requirements

    EDUCATION

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in the retail industry.

     KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Highly analytical and very skilled individual
    • Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel, familiarity with any ERP system and business analysis tools (SQL, Tableau or Power BI a strong plus)

    Account Manager(Digital)

    Job purpose:

    • To manage and oversee multiple digital advertising accounts, ensuring the seamless execution of campaigns from brief to delivery. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and measurable impact across all digital platforms, while building strong client relationships and maintaining brand consistency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Digital Campaign Management

    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital campaigns, from client briefing to campaign reporting.
    • Interpret client requirements into actionable digital briefs with clear KPIs, approved budgets, and timelines.
    • Develop and maintain campaign timelines across channels such as social media, paid search (Google Ads), programmatic display, email marketing, and e-commerce promotions.
    • Monitor live campaigns, troubleshoot issues (e.g., underperforming ad sets), and optimize for performance.

    Workflow & Process

    • Open and manage digital job files, ensuring all campaign details (job numbers, specs, audience targeting, media placements, and deadlines) are documented.
    • Coordinate with creative teams to deliver digital-first assets (e.g., HTML5 banners, video ads,email, SMS, Whatsapp, social posts).
    • Manage approval workflows and ensure campaign assets are quality-checked before going live.

    Creative & Technical Coordination

    • Source relevant examples, benchmarks, and competitor insights to support creative development.
    • Brief media and creative specifications for social, search, display, or video campaigns.
    • Ensure that tracking pixels, UTMs, and reporting dashboards are correctly implemented for campaign measurement.

    Client & Stakeholder Liaison

    • Act as the primary client contact for digital campaigns, ensuring proactive communication and updates.
    • Prepare and present performance reports (CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, ROI) with actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Document and circulate status updates, meeting notes, and digital campaign performance summaries.

    Minimum requirements

    Job related Skills & Knowledge:
