Purpose of the job 

• To monitor network status, attend to network incidents and service requests to ensure service restoration, and complete root cause analysis.  

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Infrastructure management. Maintenance of Network Devices. Provide user support and attend to logged incidents. Management and support of Wi-Fi devices.  

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Electrical Engineering light current) at NQF level 6. 
• CCNA or HCIA Certification will be a highly added advantage 
• Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience in LAN (Local Area Network) Troubleshooting Technology, Network topology, Network Design, Application Layer and routing protocols.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Manage and drive portfolio of customers in the province to determine and assess existing customers’ needs with the desired ICT requirements profile provincial customer in order to provide effective solution approach to deliver within existing contractual constraints, policies and SITA commercial service catalogue 
• In collaboration with service owners, including senior management and key stakeholders, coordination of service/product delivery and solutions for each provincial customer 
• Build, manage and maintain strategic relationships with Government Departments including delivery partners (i.e. SITA service owners) to continuously sustain the SITA business 
• Perform analysis on provincial needs and requirements in collaboration with Business Development team and other internal and external key stakeholders. 
• Perform SLA management, monitoring and review 
• Ensure that the team keeps abreast of the latest industry developments and appropriate technologies for knowledge management to ensure innovation and improved productivity 
• Financial and business management 
• Human Capital Management. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology OR Computer Science OR Bachelor Degree in Commerce OR Business Administration OR Economics / B.Tech (NQF 7). Certification in TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, or other IT related is an added advantage 
• Experience: 8-10 years professional experience, including, at least 2 years’ experience in ICT advisory services.  at least 5 years’ experience in business development and ICT Sales, preferably in public sector.  at least 4 years’ experience in a manager/senior manager role in a similar industry.

Key Responsibility Area 

• Lead the requirements definition, specification and design of ICT-based solutions in accordance with ICT standards. 
• Implementation and support of ICT-based solutions in accordance with ICT standards. 
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems. 
• Project Management Support.  

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent 
• Certification: Certification as a Systems Engineer with Incose will be advantageous. 
• Experience: 6 - 7 years experience in Systems Engineering and the integration of products into functioning operational environments, including solution development responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The applicant must have experience in requirement definition and analysis, the creation of specifications and the management of system integration by means of a total system lifecycle approach. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers. Experience in the Defense industry will be advantageous.

Key Responsibility Area 

• Implementation of ITIL Life Cycle stage (Service Transition) relevant to IT Change/ Release and Service Asset and Configuration Management for services provided to government thereby ensuring that risks to services as a result of IT changes are effectively managed in order to provide excellent service delivery.
• Define and implement specifications for the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
• Receive change information and update the CMDB. Plan and Manage Configuration Management audits. Manage Configuration status accounting.
• Report and collaboration on change/ release management activities and/or progress. Manage requests for change (IT Request -RFCs).
• Perform impact and resource analysis. Coordinate change/release build and test phases as well as implementation. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, ITIL Foundation Certification. 
• ITIL Foundation Certification and ITIL Practitioners Certification is preferred. 
• Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Service Management principles related to Service Asset and Configuration Management and Change Management good practice methodologies. Experience of working in a team and involvement in project management delivery concepts. Experience in dealing with customers. 

Technical Competencies Description 

• Process and procedure development and implementation. Understanding of Service Transition aligned to ITIL good practice methodology. Understanding service/process performance evaluation, monitoring and reporting. Fair understanding and practice of Project Management. Excellent understanding of ICT industry and IT Architecture and components.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma / Degree in ICT or Electrical Engineering (Light Current) - at least at NQF level 6. Prince 2 Practitioner Certification and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) 
• Experience: A minimum of 7-8 years working experience, including At least 4 years Project management experience managing complex projects,  At least 4 years working experience in an IT environment and  At least 4 years in public sector IT environment.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Process and re-assign purchase requisitions 
• Verification and validation of supporting documents to the process relating to the creation of purchase orders 
• Creation of Purchase Orders 
• Monitor compliance to regulations, and any instructions issued by National Treasury from time to time

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS 1 - 2-year National Higher Certificate in Business Management/ Logistics and/ or Commercial law or any qualification in the relevant discipline equivalent to NQF level 5. 
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement environment. ICT procurement experience will be an advantage Experience in Public Sector Procurement would be an added advantage, with exposure to the following: Public Finance Management Act Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes and Regulations Treasury Regulation.
