ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Coordinator Finance Master Data Services, you will to provide support, coordination and administration for the activities of the Finance Master Data Services function within GBS and to process Notifications and manage Finance Master Data activities with timely, accurate and customer-focused execution for South32.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure governance protocols of Global Business Services Finance Master Data requests are followed.
- Govern all central Finance Master Data changes in accordance with agreed quality standards, ensuring Finance Master Data Integrity.
- Identify and quantify opportunities to improve quality of all Finance Master Data or Finance Master Data Standards and once approved, drive their execution.
- Liaise with the respective Business Process Leads where required.
- Liaise with the MD requestors and/or approvers to clarify Finance Master Data request or follow-up on a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activity where required.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably in a Global Business Services Environment;
- Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Experience within a large Global organization;
- Specialist knowledge in the “Procure to Pay” cycle (Contracts, Purchasing and Accounts Payable).
Qualifications for this role are:

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Principal Pollution Prevention, you will be responsible to Provide thought leadership and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) into and across the business in relation to Pollution Prevention including non-GHG emissions and contamination prediction and management, ensuring South32 and associated global portfolio of operations and major projects are well positioned in relation to:
- Maintaining compliance with relevant South32, conventions (Basel, Stockholm etc), ICMM and ICheMS standards and legal requirements;
- identifying and managing of non-GHG emissions and contamination-related risks relevant to our operational footprints, including land owned, leased and/or managed by South32; and
- identifying and supporting key non-GHG emission and contamination-related initiatives that support the delivery of business objectives.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Provision of technical subject matter expertise (SME) service/support across the global operations to enable strategic and material risks to be managed and high-value opportunities to be realised in relation to pollution prevention;
- Provision of strategic SME advice to senior leadership and operational/project leadership teams to address current and emerging issues and opportunities associated with the portfolio, including input into the development and delivery of performance metrics where required;
- Own and maintain the Pollution Prevention Knowledge Network including development of the system of work to support the deployment of the Environment and Climate Change Standard and reduce the physical risk exposure;
- Participate in industry-wide and other key external working groups and forums;
- Participate in stewardship activities to identify and address material performance issues related to environmental performance (incl adequacy of risk profiles), with a particular focus on adherence to the Environment Standard and pollution-related material risks.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- 7 years experience in a relevant environment risk management;
- In-depth SME knowledge of air emissions and contamination as relevant to South32 operating jurisdictions, evidenced through related tertiary qualifications and extensive post-graduate experience;
- Experience in developing and deploying global programs and initiatives through strong leadership and collaboration;
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and performance at both the operational and management level through effective written and verbal communication through various delivery modes (such as virtual/in person);
- Demonstrated ability to build operational knowledge to enable improved operational performance;
- Capable of working with minimal supervision and able to self-manage priorities, with focus on high quality outputs and attention to detail;
- Ability to engage and gain trust of stakeholders across organisational levels.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an authority to work officer, you will be responsible to ensure alignment and compliance to the Authority to Work process for the mine.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- The key function of the ATW officer is to validate criteria required to perform activities in the respective plant area and ensure a reasonably practicable approach to assure a safe outcome is maintained;
- To accept plant/equipment handover from plant owners and to ensure that the risk management processes have been followed before approving work to commence;
- This includes verification that permit conditions have been met, personnel are adequately trained and equipped, and the plant conditions allow for work to proceed safely in line with our well-designed work principles;
- Safety, Risk assessment, JSA, WRAC must be competent and trained;
- Accept the plant after work is completed and to hand back to production;
- Manage interaction (clashes) between work groups and governing high risk work permits issued;
- Update the area hazard boards to reflect worksite risks;
- Audit the Authority to Work process to verify compliance.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an artisan Electrician, Mechanic or Millwright in a plant environment.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science;
- N3 Technical Certificate
- Driver's license;

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for timely installation, repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure that mining activities are executed in a safe manner as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
- Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment;
- Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
- Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
- Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ technical experience on surface mobile mining equipment;
- In depth knowledge and understanding of VIMS systems, CAT electronic Technician (ET) and the starting & charging systems components and operations;
- Extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment;
- Workshop exposure which includes rebuilding of machines, wiring systems, fault finding and repairs to electrical circuits.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12;
- .N2 Technical certificate;
- Auto Electrician Trade test;
- Valid driver's license.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Specialist Safety Reporting, you will be responsible to support HMM to develop, implement and maintain safety management systems .
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Maintain the operation’s HSES reporting database to ensure that all HSES data is accurate and available at short notice for reporting as and when required;
- Support the operation with identification of HSES reporting and system improvement initiatives that align to operational priorities;
- Provide HSES data and information for the South32 annual sustainability report where needed;
- Coordinate operation’s HSES reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) including legal appointments, contractors, document control;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data quality and assurance processes;
- Co-ordinate identification of health and safety risks through the implementation of sound safety and risk management principles;
- Facilitate health and safety related audits, incident investigations and reporting.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years Safety/Risk/Health Management experience in a mining environment;
- Expert in Mine Health & Safety Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk assessment. Skilled in safety report writing, system auditing, OSHAS 18001 & 45000 compliance, and documentation/record management. Ensuring a safer workplace through proactive risk management.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12;
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HSER related
- Valid Driver’s license
