Responsibilities:

• Developing, with the Operational Management, corrective measures of areas of noncompliance identified during evaluations and audits.
• Assisting and advising Management on environmentally related trends and legislation.
• Conducting environmental audits at operational level.
• Conducting induction and environmental awareness training within Dudfield.
• Contributing to triple bottom line initiatives.
• Conducting research of environmental related information.
• Environmental input into operational aspects relating to the setting of operational strategy, mining, processes, rehabilitation.
• Legal responsibility appointment (water, waste, NEMA).
• Facilitating awareness of the relationship between environmental risk and short-term strategies that may affect long-term environmental objectives and sustainability.
• Representing Management as a Representative for ISO 14001.

Experience and Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Environmental or Natural Sciences/Degree in Environmental Management.
• Five years’ experience in a mining or industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
• Must be declared medically fit after medical examination.

Responsibilities:

• All warehouse duties with specific focus on offloading and loading bulk cement and fly ash
• Loading transporter tankers per correct weight distribution for the truck and loaded per Traffic Road Regulations
• Efficiently operate the forklift to move cement and fly ash products within optimal timeframes using the right handling techniques
• Reporting breakages and missing bags
• Ensuring the correct product type and quantity is loaded in accordance with authority to load
• Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards

Experience and Qualifications:

• Grade 12/ Amended Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2 official languages)
• Forklift driver’s license
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related industry preferably with experience in the operating bulk handling equipment, and driving a forklift
• Very proficient in operating the bulk handling equipment
