Main Purpose of the job: 

• The ME Graduate to assume Accountability for welding related topics in the plant starting from welding process setup and validation; qualifications and certification and functional management of welding related plant staff ensuring serial maintenance of welding processes and continuously improve it. 

The main missions of the role are to: 

• Accountable to apply and maintain all FCM standards on welding process parameters.
• Accountable to validate all welding processes including changes according to FCM or Customer specification.
• Actively contributing to the FCM welding expert network.
• Accountable for the validation and technical supervision of plant welding technicians.
• Responsible to continuously improve welding processes.
• Accountable to escalate to escalate welding related risks to the ME manager.
• Accountable for the certification of manual welders in the plant.
• Supervising test piece welding if welder certification is performed internally manage the personnel issues of the assigned team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 
The ideal candidate will have/be: 

• BEng in Metallurgical Engineering 
• Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Power Point, Word 
• Strong written and oral communications skills 
• Results-oriented, committed team-player 
• Willingness to grow in a high-pressure environment 
• International mindset 
• Fluent in English 
• Available to commence work immediately if successful 
• Age between 18-35
• Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• The Purchasing Commodity Graduate is responsible for improving the supplier performance in production (quality, cost, delivery) for the plant, in line with purchasing strategy.
• Assist in contributing to the identification and implementation of productivity actions (product/process) for cost reduction, in close coordination with commodity/productivity team and the plant.
• Assist in monitoring productivity performance for supplier perimeter through cross-functional teamwork in the plants under his/her responsibility (i.e. productivity committees). Present to the plant’s management board the productivity plan and progress as on request.
• Assist productivity team to achieve the Purchasing Budget for his/her plants
• For most critical topics, support the supply chain team to improve supplier deviation in Mis-deliveries Per Million (MPM)
• Be involved in the kick off in program phase to prepare the start of Production.
• Initiate or create productivity for responsible suppliers for future years budget and strategic planning.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Education: National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification.
• Knowledge and experience minimum 1 year in manufacturing, supply chain or purchasing is advantageous
• Detailed orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of productivity / lean management methodology
• Knowledge of production, quality and logistics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of products and technology
• Languages: Ability to speak, write and read the English language;
