    Junior Treasury Accountant (9 month Fixed Term Contract))

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations 
    • Resolution of bank queries and reconciling items  
    • Perform electronic banking payments 
    • Perform bank account analytics
    • Prepare Treasury reports 
    • Improvement of processes and efficiencies, 
    • Accounting for Foreign Currency Transactions, e.g. Foreign currency swaps and hedge accounting

    Qualification and Experience

    • B Com (Acc) or related Accounting / Finance degree
    • Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services advantageous
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a large corporate Finance /Accounting department with bank reconciliations and accounting for foreign currency transactions
    • Completed SAICA Articles (advantageous)
    • Working experience with various banks ‘online banking platforms

    Corporate Policy Administrator

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Corporate Policy Administrator at Mirabilis Engineering Underwriting Managers  a subsidiary a Santam. The main purpose of the job is Policy Administration with reference to new business, endorsements, finance queries and the dealing with Corporate Brokers and other departments.


    • Policy Administration
    • Conversions of quotes into Policies


    • Dealing with other areas within Mirabilis/ liaising with brokers.
    • Manage / monitor incoming / outgoing mail
    • Must be able to adhere to deadlines and operating standard and requirements

    • A minimum of 10 years administrative insurance experience, (Including Engineering Experience)
    • Insurance Qualification / FAIS Compliant
    • First Level Regulatory Examination

    • Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
    • Fully Vaccinated

    Claims Service Consultant

    What will you do?
    The Claims Service Consultant (CSC) for Field Assessment claims is accountable for the claims end to end and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all actions on claims in this processing channel. The successful incumbent will be responsible for communicating with the client/broker from beginning to end and is the one contact person for the client/broker. Furthermore, they are also responsible for the execution on the settlement decision from the field assessor by finalizing the settlement with the insured/broker after the assessor have confirmed the outcome of the merit and quantum. Effectively maintains oversight of all relevant claims tasks and manages the claims handling process to achieve timely settlement and to minimize leakage.


    • Validation of the claim 
    • Ensuring the claim is assessment ready 
    • Adjusting estimates
    • Driving the client experience
    • Requesting for an assessor to be appointed
    • Updating notes on the claim 
    • Communicating to all parties concerned 
    • Processing of payments 
    • Rejection letters (where applicable) 
    • Appointing service providers (where applicable)

    Client Service Consultant

    What will you do?

    • To offer world class products and services to clients, whilst achieving targets in an inbound and outbound call centre environment.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Accurately capture client information on the relevant system.
    • Execute broker requests within the agreed timeframes, quality standards and legislation.
    • Handle all the administrative tasks according to agreed standards and turnaround times. 
    • Engage with broker in a client centricity manner.
    • Ensuring accurate completion broker requests and follows up to ensure queries are resolved timeously, as per service level agreement.
    • Providing effective, efficient and professional service to all our clients and offices, both telephonically and through written correspondence. 
    • Ensuring client service level agreements are met and exceeded. 
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Consistent achievement of agreed productivity.


    • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
    • FAIS compliant (30 credits NQF level 4) 
    • Experience in short term insurance 
    • Clear criminal and credit record
    • Compliance with FAIS Fit & Proper criteria i.e. minimum experience and competency requirements, which can be obtained while working under supervision. 
    • Computer literate
    • Willing to work shifts 
    • Clean track record in terms of adherence to Quality standard and Compliance
    • Consistent target achievement
