POSITION SYNOPSIS:

• The purpose of this role is to gather information throughout the sampling process for immediate and future decision-making during mining Processing and logistics activities, in a safe and sustainable manner, and assist the production teams with quality control information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics / Grade 10 (internal candidates) with at least 1 years’ experience in sampling &/or grade control;
• Valid Driver’s license is essential;
• Computer literate is advantageous;
• Basic Sampling certificate is advantageous;
• Must be able to work shifts.
   

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Be part of the sampling teams;
• Assist with all Sampling activities e.g. Reverse circulation drilling samples and Processing Plants sampling, Loadout Samples and Stockpile sampling etc;
• Monitoring of mine and plant blending schedule compliance;
• Collection of Samples from the Pit and the dumps or stockpiles;
• Capturing of sample and quality data into database and reports;
• Ensure good housekeeping standard is maintained;
• Conduct daily inspections on machinery and tools to ensure efficient operation thereof;
• Communication of values to the respective teams;
• Assist the supervisor and respective geologist with daily tasks;
• Reporting of incidents and break downs;
• Conduct investigations into workplace incidents.

POSITION SYNOPSIS:

• The purpose of the role is the effective stock receiving, binning, issuing, deliveries and control.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics and 2 years’ warehouse experience;
• LDV License is essential;
• Sound knowledge of MS office is essential;
• Experience of bulk fuel reconciliation and managing thereof will be advantageous.
• Forklift License & HDV license is advantageous;
• 1st Aid Certificate is advantageous.
• Candidate must be able and willing to work underground when required.

 
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Physical receipt, validating against purchase order and inspection of goods received at the warehouse and binning these items;
• Posts the goods issue, runs the pick list if required, and consolidates at the dispatch area if delivery is required;
• Prepares goods for dispatch and delivers to the delivery points;
• Counts inventory items to balance system stocks against the stock at the physical location;
• Reviews the Returns Document to determine the type of return and maintains follow on delivery or transport order documents as required to complete the logistics process;
• Expedites the upliftment of bought out items;
• Good Housekeeping, keeps the warehouse, yards and equipment clean and neat;
• Responsible for Safe goods handling, operation of equipment and hazardous chemicals;
• Use of Manitou forklift to offload or bin inventory..

POSITION SYNOPSIS:

• Purpose of the role is to provide effective administrative and operational support in the execution of routine warehouse activities with key focus on repairable items.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science together with a N3 Technical Certificate with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in supply chain;
• In depth knowledge of the basic repairable process principles is essential;
• In depth knowledge of warehouse processes and SAP system is essential;
• Stock control experience is advantageous;
• Computer literacy in SAP Materials Management & MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is advantageous;
• Valid drivers license Code 8 (EB);
• Forklift license is advantageous.
• Computer literacy in MS Office Suite is advantageous.
   

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Counts inventory items to balance system stocks against the stock at the physical location (focus on repairables but not limited to);
• Responsible to verify the accuracy of all stock on hand vs systems;
• Performs receiving of goods physically and on the system;
• Responsible for binning of materials correctly after delivery and bin management;
• Executes on-time issuing, picking, packing, consolidation and delivery of materials for planned and scheduled work;
• Administers the collection and dispatch of repairable items to suppliers for repair, overall, return or disposal;
• Administers and stores the return of unused materials after inspection;
• Ensures that damaged repairable are signed back to the Warehouse timeously and in a safe condition;
• Coordinating repair process from collection of items sent for repairs as per their part and material number to receiving of repaired item into the warehouse.
• Use of a manitou forklift & electric forklift for loading and unloading of repairable and inventory where needed.
• Assist and track warranty claims with A&A and end users.
