    Ops Specialist: Product Management/Development - Centurion

    Core Description    

    • To assist in the execution of product life cycle management in the most effective way that would optimise product performance and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications    

    • Relevant 3 year Degree/ Diploma (at least NQF level 6) with 3 years experience, of which at least 1 year in marketing and telecommunications,or at least 1 year in Product Management/ Development/ Technical Product Development operational experience. Experience of the specific products/ services to be managed in this position would be advantageous.

    OR

    • Grade 12 with 5 years experience depending on qualification, of which at least 1 year in marketing and telecommunications,or at least 1 year in Product Management/ Development/ Technical Product Development operational experience. Experience of the specific products/ services to be managed in this position would be advantageous.

    Experience    

    • Relevant 3 year Degree/ Diploma (at least NQF level 6) with 3 years experience, of which at least 1 year in marketing and telecommunications,or at least 1 year in Product Management/ Development/ Technical Product Development operational experience. Experience of the specific products/ services to be managed in this position would be advantageous.

    OR

    • Grade 12 with 5 years experience depending on qualification, of which at least 1 year in marketing and telecommunications,or at least 1 year in Product Management/ Development/ Technical Product Development operational experience.     Specialist – Mass Market Business Development - Centurion

    Core Description    

    • Implement the Mass Market sales strategy, aligned to business plan expectations, and in consultation with relevant stakeholders to ensure revenue growth and customer retention. Identify trends and customer needs and build a short, medium and/or long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets. Manage strategic customer accounts and nurture relationships for the purposes of serving customer requirements and growing account revenues.

    Job Responsibilities    

    • Establish clear tactical plans to implement the sales strategy to grow Openserve Mass Market revenue and ARPU, retention targets, new market development and market penetration, in line with the business plan targets and market share aspirations
    • Develop ISP account plans for strategic clients to strengthen relationships to enable revenue retention management and business growth forecasting.
    • Proactive analysis of industry trends, customer requirements and technological changes to influence product value proposition whilst regularly assessing alignment to Openserve business and commercial strategy
    • Manage pipeline for specific propositions, influence internal and external stakeholders /decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, identify bundles to drive BB growth, select deals in line with solutions offering where applicable, and facilitate pitch logistics

    Required Certification    

    • None 

    Qualifications    

    • Relevant 3-year Degree/ Diploma (NQF level 6) in preferably Marketing, Business Management or related field

    Experience    

    • 5 Years' experience in Marketing/ ICT / business strategy and/or analysis/ Technical Product Development, of which 2 years should be customer facing or have involved consulting to an external Marketing environment
    • Special Requirements

    • Work long hours
    • Willing to travel
