    Corporate Communications Coordinator - JHB

    Candidate Profile

    • B.Com degree or equivalent Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum of between 4 years but no more than 6 years broad understanding of Brand, PR or Internal & External communication
    • Proven working experience in at least one of the following industries i.e petroleum or oil/gas, energy, Media, Marketing agency, FMCG industry.

    • The ability to be a self-starter who can deliver results despite challenges

    Activities

    • This role is responsible for assisting with the creation and delivery of a brand and public relations strategy to position the company’s brand in the market (including in Namibia, eSwatini and Botswana, also known as NBE Countries) with media and opinion formers in order to support marketing ROI and business objectives that will assist in obtaining maximum brand leverage (awareness, engagement and conversion). 
    • Profiling the TotalEnergies brand within the organisation and externally 
    • To be the custodian of the brand and standards and ensure adherence across all levels of the business  

    External Communications

    • Manage all external communication activities with applicable stakeholders i.e Media and others 
    • Manage external engagement with the media i.e press conferences, media statements and or responding on behalf of the organisation to media queries.  
    • Assist in the management of relationships within the press and opinion leaders in the market to enhance and maintain positive image of the brand. 
    • Keep abreast of local and national news, events to ensure that the TotalEnergies brand is always portrayed positively. 

    Internal communications 

    • Develop content calendar  of internal communication activities 
    • Assist in managing the editorial committee meetings to ensure relevant stories are shared using the right channels and timely 
    • Responsible for internal campaigns and the amplification of such activities through internal communication channels. 

    Brand

    • Support the on-going positioning of the TotalEnergies Brand & Communication strategy and act as a brand custodian.  
    • Manage cross-functional campaigns (Retail, B2B, CSI and Lubs etc) to ensure brand identity compliance in overall marketing communications including but not limited to ATL, BTL, PR, Digital, website, events, instore-POS. 
    • Monitor competitive activities and industry trends and offers insights to support business objectives
    • Maintain a timeline for all marketing activities and keep the brand team on deadline. 
    • Manage marketing campaign assets development and approvals trafficking.  
    • Maintain ongoing, open communication and updates to all functional areas i.e Retail marketing, operations, B2B, Sales communication, Sales, PR, Promotions, Media, Creative, Finance etc.
    • Assist in managing external agencies and cross functional teams for marketing plan execution, budget & results tracking/analysis, PR/external communications.  Further assist in managing agency status meetings and reporting. 
    • Work closely with Brand & PR Manager to ensure maximum positive exposure for all campaigns, product launches and sponsorships in the market. 
    • Assist in creating and delivering an effective PR & Communication strategy for the brand to maximise exposure and leverage the brand within budget parameters to achieve the overall business objectives.

    Senior Lubricants Technical Advisor - JHB

    Candidate Profile

    • Appropriate Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical Engineer preferred; BEng, BSC or appropriate)
    • 3-5 years experience in a technical role within the lubricants or lubrication industry. 
    • Some sales background would be advantageous 
    • Experience in application, complaints, product development, oil analysis
    • Excellent knowledge of the products and their potential applications in the industry. 
    • Excellent knowledge of TMSA and competitor products

    Activities

    Strategy

    • Continuously update and manage the lubricants product range and services to meet the demands of the local and regional market. This is based on both the TMSA roadmap and continuously changing market conditions. 
    • Stay abreast of technical developments by attending conferences and exhibitions including relevant SAIT events. 
    • Plan for future product need in advance both for local production and importation. 
    • Manage the product life cycle within the lubricants technical team via the UMDS process: 
    • Trial Blend and labels 
    • Code creations 
    • Implementation, SDS
    • Closures 
    • Product and material rationalization and optimization. 
    • Ensure downstream quality is routinely monitored and advise on deviation and suggested corrective actions. 
    • Assist with digitalization of lubricants technical processes onto Microsoft Office 365 Environment with the support of local IT. 

    Lubricant Sales 

    • Deliver the Lubricants roadmap with regards to product range modifications required, and to implement these changes. 
    • Assist the sales teams to deliver new products and services to maintain competitive edge. 
    • To strive to reduce product costs to allow TMSA to be competitive in the market place. 
    • To ensure that technical services relating to Lubricants are conducted in a professional, accurate and timely manner by team members. 
    • These services include but are not limited to: Product applications/recommendations, product alternatives, site audits, oil analysis interpretation, providing technical support documentation, product launches and product training.
    •  This service is to be extended to all TotalEnergies employees, customers and prospective customers. Focus is on sales staff, call centre, business support, marketing and LMP. 
    • To assist our sales team to understand customer needs and to educate on them our product ranges and applications. 
    • Communication on product changes. 

    HSSE

    Draughtsman (fixed term contract) - JHB

    Candidate Profile

    • National Diploma (Multi- Disciplinary Draughting/ Civil/ Mechanical) with good knowledge of CAD 
    • Good draughting experience in construction

    HSEQ:

    Drawing Office Services 

    • To prepare site layouts, sketch plans and detailed working drawings for retail technical projects including but not limited to new services stations, major revamps, invariants upgrade projects, signage, diversification and Solarization, etc 
    • To prepare details drawings for retail equipment including pump and tank installations.
    • To ensure all drawings and plans are in accordance with TE requirements and relevant local authority and environmental regulations. 
    • To update construction specifications for the engineering, architectural and pump and tank aspects of TE projects, taking into account any changes to the relevant municipal and national requirements. 
    • To provide a professional construction service to retail (network and offer development, retail fuels, SFS, ESO, marketing and retail) department by assisting in the determination of construction, architectural and pump and tank requirements for the preparation of project proposals. 
    • To reviewing and adjusting of drawings done by consultants in order to ensure that TE norms and standards are adhered to. 
    • To prepare in consultation with the project engineers as build drawings on completion of each individual project. 
    • To maintain all sites latest revision of layouts and keep archives of all changes and modification. 

    Administrative 

    • The general operation of the drawing office and to fulfil various administrative & management duties within the office. • Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows) 
    • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams. 
    • File documents in physical and digital records. 
    • Create technical templates for future use. 
    • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients 
    • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization  
    • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
