    Procurement Operations Manager - Cape Town

    Key responsibilities

    • Responsible for the performance of our purchasing associate, buyer associate and intercompany associate teams.
    • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
    • Ensure all escalations are addressed and root cause identified with the appropriate fixes put in place.
    • Analyse data to ensure the following is being adhered to within the relevant departments.
    • All supplier queries are logged within the agreed time frame set by the business to ensure operational deadlines are met.
    •  All CDW purchase orders are actively chased and updated accordingly so we are providing the best information to our customers.
    • Ensure all purchase orders are placed within the agreed time frame set by the business.
    • Ensure all intercompany issues are actioned within the agreed time frame set by the business.
    • Work closely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure operational targets are being met and adhered to so we provide the best possible data and updates to our customers and the rest of the operation.
    • Develop and implement procurement operational strategies as set by the Head of Procurement.
    • Mentor, coach & develop the team to:
    • Deliver best in class service to internal and external customers
    • Deliver CDW procurement strategy and priorities
    • Help them think differently and innovate new ideas.
    • Organise and arrange training within the team, ensure there is a clear plan for career development.
    • Conduct 1:1 meetings and other management duties.
    • Ensure that the customer requirement is at the centre of the decision-making process, working closely with up and downstream departments in the process, & to always stimulate a culture of collaboration.
    • Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-today technical and operational problems.
    • Implementing & maintaining processes to ensure the teams operate with maximum efficiency and governance.
    • Applies operational business practices and coordinates with other closely related areas to improve efficiency
    • Coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Experience of working in an operational role, ideally within IT and procurement (Understanding of core CDW vendors, beneficial) for at least 3 years
    • Strong engagement skills, proven ability to build stakeholder & supplier relationships & be an expert commercial advisor.
    • Show excellent team management skills.
    • Excellent numeracy skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
    • Highly motivated with ability to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit the business.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
    • Demonstrated drive & ambition, alongside proactive thinking; working in complex & challenging environment to resolve commercial issues
    • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    Sales Reporting Analyst - Cape Town

    Key responsibilities

    • Working closely with business stakeholders to produce actionable reporting.
    • Interrogate data sets & produce insight & analysis.
    • Build new reporting based on existing available data.
    • Work with business units to implement new data points into our data set.
    • Work with Sales Operations leaders to produce KPI reporting.
    • Manage sales requests for Ad Hoc customer reporting.
    • Producing self-serve solutions for customer reporting risk assessments and SSOW are created and maintained for all areas of their responsibility.
    • Excellent awareness of Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse/operations environment.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Excel, Macro, VBA script level capability
    • A high level of mathematical ability
    • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines.
    • Have strong programming skills, particularly in SQL, structured query language, and other common programming languages.
    • Highly detail orientated.
    • Experienced in developing Power BI reporting.
